DPD Courier service is present in Croatia since January 200 and offers a wide range of products and services in national and international parcel distribution. Customs clearance in electronic form starts already when the packages are on the plane through our package pre-announcement system (pre-alert systems).. Calculation is per shipment - in the case of a large number of parcels, the total weight is calculated. All prices are in Croatian kunas (HRK). Where applicable, VAT will be charged at the legally prescribed rate. Price list is valid from the 1st of January 201. A fuel surcharge is added to the price. 10 DPD PRICE LI ST ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Regulations and documentation Packaging All packages (except the documents) that are shipped outside the European Union are subject to customs regulations and laws governing international trade according to the regulations of the country the goods are being exported to and depending on the type of product to be sent. The sender shall ensure adequate internal and external packaging and proper labelling of parcels. Parcel distribution at DPD's transport system requires packaging that will protect the contents of parcels or goods during automatic and mechanical sorting. Instructions for proper packing packages can be downloaded at To create customs documentation all parcels (except for documents) must be accompanied by detailed commercial documentation. It is necessary to include three original invoices and two copies with parcels of commercial value. Three pro-forma invoices and two copies need to be included with packages of non-commercial values. The documentation must be in English and written clearly. The invoice should include: sender's address, the recipient's address with phone number and contact person, a detailed description and quantity of goods, unit price and total price, expressed in, parity. Volumetric weight indicates how much space a parcel occupies compared to its weight, and is calculated based on the TACT rules managed under IATA (International Air Transport Association) according to the following formula: Goods exempted from transport forbidden content Some products belong to the group of "prohibited content". The list of goods excluded from transport can be found in the Special Terms and Conditions for Parcels intended for air transport (AIR shipments). Delivery times Delivery deadlines apply to working days and optimal transport conditions and can be modified due to possible export procedures and customs clearance. It is very important to highlight your phone number clearly on the parcel as well as the name of the recipient of the package so that, if necessary, regarding import procedures and delivery arrangements, the recipient of the parcel can be quickly and easily contacted. Although GeoPost International achieved very high standards in the time of transit, they are not guaranteed.
