Deadline to register is April 2nd When: Saturday, April 21st 11:00 am; Final round is played on Sunday, April 22nd at 6:00 pm Where: The New Green Room - Doors open at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 21st Cost: $100 per team Championships held August 11-14, 2018 in Las Vegas! Limited to the first 64 paid teams - Two 32-Team Boards (Prize money and Travel Assistance based upon a full field) Registration Window Opens February 5, 2018 You must pre-register and pre-pay using the attached entry forms (anytime after the registration window opens). 2018 APA Team Captains Championship A maximum of 5 players allowed on a team roster. Games Must Win Chart Teams may choose any 3 of the 5 team members to Team Match 6 & participate in each match.

Alternate between 8-Ball & 9-Ball racks, starting with 8-Ball. Team Captains flip a coin to decide who must declare their three players for the match. Winner of the flip has the choice of declaring first or having the opposing Team Captain choose first. The Captains will list their players in ascending order (lowest to highest). That list determines the player rotation, and is locked for the match. Once both teams in a match have declared their players, the players cannot be changed unless the 15-Rule is in jeopardy. Order of play will be lowest skill level to highest. Players lag to see who wins the first break. Once the first two players have completed their rack of 8-Ball, the second two players in the rotation will play a rack of 9-Ball. Upon that rack s completion, the next two players in the rotation will play a rack of 8- Ball. Once set, the player rotation continues until a team reaches the required points necessary to win the match. The winning team breaks with the next player in the rotation after each rack. Each individual rack is worth one team point. Games Must Win chart will be used. A players highest established skill level between formats (8-Ball& 9-Ball) must be used towards the 15- Rule. Exception skill level 7s in 8-Ball will count as 7s in 9-Ball, and skill level 8/9s in 9-Ball will count as 7s in 8-Ball. Only one player of skill level 6 or higher, sometimes referred to as a senior skill level player, may play in any given match. If a team has only three players, two of those being senior skill level players, one match must be forfeited due to the above rule. Players must have at least twenty (20) 8-Ball scores or twenty (20) 9-Ball scores within the last two (2) years by the entry deadline of July 9, A combination of scores from the two formats is not allowed. Players must have completed two (2) sessions as a Team Captain of a standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies team in the 2017/2018 League year in the area the team represents. For this year ONLY, the APA will allow the Summer 2018 Session to count as one of your two sessions. Players must be listed as the captain on the Summer 2018 Re-Reg Form, if counting the Summer Session as one of your two sessions. Players must have played at least four (4) times in the Spring Session in the League area the team represents. The four matches played can be in either the standard 8-Ball or 9-Ball formats (but not a combination of both formats). Players must be on an active (Summer Session) APA roster.
