The 2018 season is shaping up to be an amazing experience for all, highlighted by eight unique tour stops. AVP events embrace the beauty of our sport and the lifestyle, and we look forward to sharing this with the community in New York City. Besides watching the world-class athletes battle for the podium, attendees can enjoy an interactive sponsor village experience: free falling into the Jump Zone, partaking in top local food options, VIP hospitality zones, beach side beer and lounge garden, and physical activities. In addition, our grassroots programs continue to grow and make great strides in uniting the sport of beach volleyball by systematically tapping every market in America. Our mission is to allow every participant within beach volleyball to experience the AVP brand. We strive to make every experience an enjoyable and unforgettable one, and we look forward to an excellent season. The AVP in New York City is a staple, and has quickly become a favorite event for both fans and athletes because of its energetic atmosphere and Unique location on the Hudson River.

3 The AVP in New York City is a staple, and has quickly become a favorite event for both fans and athletes because of its energetic atmosphere and Unique location on the Hudson River. This stop on our tour is a part of our Gold Series which has elevated prize money and points. For 5 consecutive years the New York City Open has been in the forefront of our schedule and keeps the high level of play and energy flowing into the start of what will be an exciting summer. In 2017, the AVP saw Jake Gibb, Taylor Crabb, April Ross, and Lauren Fendrick take home first place in the New York City Open. Gibb and Crabb also won 1 other event in 2017, adding on Hermosa Beach to their impressive resume. Who will take it home in 2018?
