2 Camp 1: YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP July 2-5, 2018 Grades: 6-8 Location: NMSU Alamogordo Campus: Tays Special Events Center - Alamogordo, NM Days: Monday, July 2, 2018 to Thursday, July 5, 2018 Times: Starts: 8:00 am / Ends: 12:00 pm Cost: Camp Cost: $65.00 Camp Check-in Check-in... July 2, 7:00 am (Camp 1) Camp Description This camp is offered to children entering 6th through 8th grade in the summer Coaches at the camp will be focusing on fundamentals for the younger players. Players of any skill level are invited to attend. Camp 2: HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL CAMP July 2-5, 2018 Grades: 9-12 Location: NMSU Alamogordo Campus: Tays Special Events Center - Alamogordo, NM Days: Monday, July 2, 2018 to Thursday, July 5, 2018 Times: Starts: 1:00 pm / Ends: 5:00 pm Cost: Camp Cost: $65.00 Camp Check-in Check-in... July 2, 12:00 pm (Camp 2) Camp Description This camp is offered to students entering 9th through 12th grade in the summer Coaches at the camp will be getting the older kids ready to go for school volleyball. Players will receive small group instruction and will have opportunities to utilize their skills in competitive settings. Players of any skill level are invited to attend. VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT July 6-7, 2018 Age: 16 or older Location: NMSU Alamogordo Campus: Tays Special Events Center - Alamogordo, NM Days: Friday, July 6, 2018 to Saturday, July 7, Times: Starts: 8:00 pm / Ends: 8:00 pm Camp & Tournament Cost: $ Note: You may enter a volleyball team as a coed or women's team. The coed teams may consist of no more than two males playing at one time. The net will be set at the men's height of 8'0". 2

3 Camp Description NMSU-A Volleyball Camp offers an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of volleyball. The coaching staff is supportive, fun and full of knowledge! Each camp is led by experienced coaches who will focus on building & refining skills, which will promote a love for the game! Drill progressions will be aimed towards recognizing and developing good habits in all aspects of the game. General courtesy, respect for teammates and opponents and the importance of hard work will be taught to the campers. Take advantage of this opportunity in preparation for the 2018 season! Come and brush up on your skills before your school season starts! Camp includes your own a NMSU Volleyball t-shirt. See you in the gym soon! General Information All sessions will be held in Tays Center, located on NMSU Alamogordo Campus. Coaches at the camp will include Ashley Rhoades and staff (Eastern New Mexico). Coach Rhoades previously was the assistant coach for Eastern New Mexico volleyball team. Since 2008, she has been a head coach (17s and 18s) and assistant coach (15s and 16s) with the New Mexico Juniors Club volleyball teams. Rhoades was a four- year letter winner of the Lobos volleyball team. A three-time AVCA All West Region and Mountain West All Conference Academic selection, she was also a member of the 2011 A2 National Champion volleyball team. At the present time, Ashley is the head coach of Cibola High School. What to bring Extra T-shirt, Volleyball shoes, socks, kneepads, water bottle and snacks. Note: Locker rooms & showers available but very limited space: Recommend athletes to come dress to play. Check-in... 4 Accommodations This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations. For questions on local hotel information please contact (575) or Cancellation Protection What if I have to cancel a camp? We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. Seven days prior to the June 25, 2018 (Camp 1 &2) there will be NO REFUND. Camp Waiver Information All participants must have their own medical insurance through a family policy or some other source that will serve as their primary coverage. Registrations will not be accepted if the medical release and insurance form is not filled out in its entirety. Each camper must complete the attached medical release form. Specific medical needs can be discussed upon check-in.
