More lights, cleanliness, more sidewalks Help keep city clean, water and do what the City asks to be done. Improve sidewalk/sewer drainage so it doesn't flood the streets. Improve the street lights far from each other Add more streetlights and fix gutter drainage, chaos during rain season - Chestnut Halladay More recreation areas, variety of classes. More trash cans along the streets & bus stops More crosswalks. Safety for pedestrians and bicyclists I would like for the city to worry about my area at Chestnut & Halladay because it fills with water and the children need to be carried across, I wish someone would fix That these topics become priorities and they funds are found to fix them Improve sewer drainage and have more street lights on streets near schools like Roosevelt. Need some on 1st also More cleanliness, remove tossed objects like TVs, mattresses, all trash left in alleys Improve public street lights to deter delinquency since they have places to hide Notify city about bike lanes, trails and facilities in need of maintenance and repair. Help in surveying sidewalks for needed repairs. Community members can help maintain the city streets and neighborhoods. Better bike lanes. Education campaign around recycling program. More recycling in public places. Let city know about needed repairs and opportunities to improve BASICS first. Have more lights on the sidewalks. Create more community centers at each park, even it it's mobile. Street lights not repaired. Safety at night. Better lighting deters gang activity. Create neighborhood groups and Street representatives to investigate and create a list of all the changes that are needed in the neighborhood better streets, more lighting, more Green areas.

Beverly, Halladay, Orange - the street lights are on all day I need to start biking to work more. More lights in the alleys, safer sidewalks in need of repair, 92701, Pine & Halladay Community should organize days to pick-up litter. Have a clean city. Improve street lighting for added security. Sidewalks in better condition Notify city on areas that need fixing. More bike paths, more walkable sidewalks, more bike Plan, develop, build public facilities for local lanes. performances. Build more bike lanes, and safe bike houses, remove abandoned buildings, tree trimming maintenance, Not so many people ride bicycles, but some do! Make educate residents about available facilities by sending more bike trails, it'll get people inspired to ride bikes. notices in water bills. More lighting on residential streets. Construction of more community centers at our parks. Funding more programs at our parks. The community can throw their trash where it needs to be thrown away. Make the city beautiful, more clean. Encourage others to recycle, (family, community center, where I work), and to use trash cans instead of streets. As able to, pick up trash I come across. Maintain the trees on our sidewalks. Maintain clean streets Shelton and Cubbon, parking & loitering, drinking, check the parking slots more often. Promote and endorse public facilities. Add more trash and recycling bins, esp. where more populated (public areas). Increase maintenance shifts as needed (i.e. more during the holidays). The City should research the work of Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project and the idea of transitioning into a Resource Based Economy. To be more responsible homeowner and maintain my section of the neighborhood as safe/clean as possible.

Light pollution at the stadium should be greatly reduced. Add more lights throughout the city. Fix potholes, more drinking fountains, more public restrooms. City Wi-Fi, 3d public printers. Actively fund and designate bike lanes (Class I and II) in central areas of city, particularly routes youth/kids use to get to school & community centers. Add more lights around the community, also need more trash cans all over the place, we also need benches for people to rest on. Help community understand the costs associated with various community facilities If we all appreciate what it takes to improve. Increase response time to requests to fix lights, pot holes and damage to city property in neighborhoods. Make spaces in unused facilities for students and makers of all ages - see arduino, maker-space, hackerspace. philosborn2001@yahoo.com Stop spending 1,000,000 every time we paint the water tower or sell the right to advertise on it to a corporation.

Trash cans should be put for public (you have to walk numerous streets to find a public trash can, while at Floral Park they have them spread out - just an example). Fix Richland Avenue, the road below Lowell Elementary and Pio Pico Elementary. The park should be safer with no gang activity and more light. Reduce water use with native vegetation where possible. Pico-Lowell - parking too tall. Its been a year since the city came to work on this intersection Shelton and Cubbon. What is the city doing to create a self-sufficient community? Build the streetcar connection between downtown and the train station. Better bike lanes. Education campaign around recycling program. More recycling in public spaces. It would be terrific to create a public restroom in the Artists Village area so that the other buildings di not have to be accessed. Sell city owned buildings or lots that are not needed or do not provide any useful purpose. More funding for community centers. Some centers are funded by private donations and are barely surviving.

Long term - Facility for staging of performances. More activities on weekends. Turn old OCTA transportation center into a shelter/soup kitchen. Fund better lit communities & streets. Very hard to see children crossing. Lit bike trails. Create a community where they feel safe.
