Day 2: Tuesday, December 30, 2014 Float Viewing - Bandfest An early morning departure takes you to Pasadena for a day combining the excitement of the season with funfilled activities surrounding the Tournament of Roses. You ll have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view the floats in their final stage of decorating. Next, attend Bandfest, featuring selected bands from all over the country that will perform in the parade, giving you a chance to see these talented musicians, dancers and auxiliary performers in action. A stop will be made for time at leisure to enjoy lunch on your own and explore the town of Pasadena. Upon returning to your hotel, the remainder of the afternoon is yours to relax at your hotel and enjoy the area. (B, D) Day 3: Wednesday, December 31, 2014 Day at Leisure - New Year s Eve Party The day is yours to relax, explore the area independently or perhaps purchase one of the many optional tours that will be offered. Your tour manager will be on hand to help plan your day. Then, get ready for tonight s New Year s Eve Gala Dinner Dance with live entertainment and a champagne toast to help ring in the New Year. Welcome to the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, a grand tradition each New Year s day since When the parade debuted, 2,000 citizens were on hand to witness history in the making. Today, more than one million spectators line the parade route. As Collette's guest, you will join them with reserved seating for prime viewing. After the parade, return to Long Beach and enjoy time

The Rose Parade Originally started on January 1, 1890, the Rose Parade is watched in person by hundreds of thousands of spectators on the parade route and is broadcast on multiple television networks in the United States. It is seen by millions more on television worldwide in more than 200 international territories and countries. The parade consists of 43 floats and 21 marching bands. 11 Hollywood, CA Inside Historic Hollywood $60 USD This Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes tour visits all the famous (and infamous) landmarks in Hollywood and is a delight for anyone fascinated with Hollywood history, architecture and lore. If you really want to get a glimpse of Hollywood, you must take this tour! This walking tour (leisurely paced) actually takes you inside many of the landmarks something you just can t do on a bus. Each person will receive a unique live-audio system, allowing you to hear the local tour guide even over the most extreme city noise. Long Beach, CA The Queen Mary and the Long Beach Aquarium $90 USD From 1936 to 1967, the Queen Mary was the world s most elegant ocean liner. During her 31 years at sea, she transported the rich and famous across the North Atlantic and during World War II, she carried more than 800,000 soldiers some 600,000 miles. After 1,001 transatlantic crossings, she made her final voyage from Southampton, England to Long Beach, California. It would be her final crossing, the end of an era. Today, enjoy a guided tour of this incredible ship and lunch on board. This afternoon, visit the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific which features more than 12,000 marine animals from over 550 species. You will fly a short distance into the Grand Canyon to see some incredible views. A very light lunch is included. On your ride to the West Rim you will see such sights as Hoover Dam, Grand Wash Mesa and Grapevine Cliffs. Actual time on the bottom of the Grand Canyon is approx minutes.
