2 Arrival details Volunteers will be on hand to direct you to your allocated pitch or stall area. A map of stall holders locations will be made available 1 week prior to the event. Address: Free parking is available for all stall holders. The address of the car park is: Tower Street / Winchester / SO23 8TA. Arrival: Stall holders may arrive and set-up from 10.30am Stalls set up: By 2.30pm for Pride Parade arrival. For those choosing to set up and join the parade please do so by 12.00pm to allow enough time to walk across the Parade Assembly point. Parking arrangements To ensure that we can manage allocation of spaces accordingly, please can you confirm us if you require a parking space in additional to your stall or pitch by ing patrick.young@hants.gov.uk Please ensure that your contains the following: Name of group or organisation represented Contact details Vehicle registration number Any accessibility requirements

3 Your parking space will be confirmed by and you will be provided with a parking notice to be displayed in your vehicle on the day. For alternative parking facilities, we have enclosed a map of the other car parks and park and ride facilities available. Winchester train station is also nearby and is detailed on this map. Rubbish: Vehicles: All stall holders are responsible for keeping their pitch area rubbish free at all times Do not use hazard lights when moving around the site. Please use indicators to inform people of vehicle movement. Vehicle movement must not exceed 5mph. All stall holders are responsible for their own health and safety and must ensure that their pitch or stall area is free from hazards to maintain the health and safety of others.

4 Pride parade route The parade will be setting off from The University of Winchester and people will start to gather from 1.00pm for the opening of the parade event with merchandise stands, teas and coffee. The University Stripe Auditorium will open at 1.20pm for some inspirational speeches to get the crowd going. The parade will set off at 2.15pm to follow a safe and accessible route across Winchester, England s ancient capital, ending up at the Discovery Centre in time for the much anticipated Hampshire Pride street party and marketplace. Assembly Finish: Street Party and Market Place (Hampshire County Council, Elizabeth II Court) Assembly Start: Parade Assembly (The University of Winchester, The Stripe) The route includes steps, crossing roads and mounting sidewalks. There are accessible alternative routes which join up with the parade at different points, please contact the event organisers for further details. The marshalls will be on hand to help ensure that we have a safe and fun parade but please use your common sense, look after yourselves and others, by sticking to pavements along the route and being aware of traffic and other potential hazards.

5 Pride marketplace events The parade will arrive at Elizabeth II Court at approximately 3pm to join the Pride indoor street party. The café and canteen will be open with a number of street performances along the route to the marketplace which will take place in Ashburton Hall. An accessible gender neutral toilet will be available on the day. It is not permitted to smoke in the building or courtyard however a smoking area is available to the side of café accessible via the main entrance. The Hampshire Pride festival celebrations will carry on with an after party at The Guildhall from 7.30pm. (Tickets must be booked online before the event or brought on the day at the ticket office or Hampshire Pride stands). 6 Our ethos Hampshire Pride is space for all of Hampshire to join together and celebrate the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and more community. We welcome young and old, people who see themselves as part of the community and people who are proud of their friends and family. It is also for any individual who wishes to celebrate the gifts of acceptance, love and joy that our society offers in this day and age. 8 Marketplace Stallholders Booking Form Bookings to be submitted via by noon Saturday 11th February 2017 to guarantee a place. Please note stands will be allocated on a first come-first served basis. Any late requests will be added to a waiting list. Name of business/organisation: Contact name: Contact address: Contact Contact phone number: A table and two chairs will be made available for each stall please let us know if you require any additional equipment (i.e. additional chairs/ backboard). There will be a limited number of stalls that will have access to electricity. Please indicate below if you require access to an electrical outlet. Hampshire Pride is a not-for-profit organisation reliant on the support of volunteers, fundraising and donations. We therefore require stall holders from commercial organisations and independent businesses to pay for their stand. The introductory rate for 2017 is : Commercial - 50 Independent - 20 Community/not-for-profit - FREE
