Tuck the ends of the rope through the top of the cones and have the rope hang so that it is touching the ground. Students practice jumping over the rope. When ready, one student uses their hand to move the rope in a pendulum swing while the other end is in the cone. This allows the other student to jump. (Use Jump Rope Skill Cues for Long Rope Pendulum Swing.) Perform the Hokey Pokey (Track 8) from All Time Favorite Dances CD. Use Verbal Cues.
