A: Yes, recently the softgood liners have been upgraded with kink free tubing to prevent unintentional kinking. This tubing was also lengthened slightly to make it easier to align with the dorsal shell. Q: What was the reason to place the straps on the Rebound Walker where they are? A: Rebound walker was designed to comfortably immobilize the foot and ankle for optimal healing. A recent study showed that the Rebound Walker immobilizes the foot and ankle similar to total contact casts and better than the competition (data on file). Q: Is there a pediatric size? A: The XS and SM will fit pediatric patients. *Shoe sizes vary. Proper fit should be determined by trained medical professional. Q: What is the maximum calf size for the Rebound Air Walker? A: * Softgood Width Extension can be used to increase the width by 4 inches Q: Will the Softgood Width Extension work with the Rebound Air Walker? A: Yes, WKSG 1BLK, but the color of the softgood extension only comes in black and the Rebound Air Walker softgood comes in dark grey.

Our in house test lab has conducted validation testing to ensure the rigidity of the brace and immobilization. In fact, recent biomechanical data has confirmed that the Rebound Air Walker can immobilize similar to total contact casts. Q: Will the Walker Heel Wedge fit? A: It will fit S through XL, but it will require a little width modification to fit the XS. Q: Can I buy a replacement softgoods? A: No, Rebound Walkers were specifically designed to immobilize the foot and ankle and the pneumatic softgoods are an essential component. Q: Why does the bladder not inflate? A: The valve does not allow the bladder to be inflated beyond a pressure that will cause it to burst. Please make sure the bladder is deflated before putting it on. Q: Why does the bladder not deflate? A: The bladder should be deflated when the walker is on the foot. The bladder will not deflate without pressure from the leg. Q: How do I inflate and deflate the bladder? A: Please refer to the IFU.

4 Q: Is the walker slip resistant? A: The walker is not slip resistant on some surfaces. Care should always be taken while walking because the ankle/foot is immobilized. Q: Can I trim the toe bumper? A: Yes, the material can easily be trimmed with some sharp scissors. Q: What is the warranty policy for the Rebound Air walker? A: Warranty covers defects up to 6 months after purchase. Single patient use only. See IFU for details. Q: How can I clean my Rebound Walker? A: Before removing your walker, please check with your medical professional. If ok, follow the directions in the IFU. Remove liner from walker before washing The soft good liner should be washed by hand using a mild detergent and cold water. *Do not use bleach or strong detergent. Do not wash in washing machine or place in dryer. Air dry flat. Walker plastic can be washed with a damp cloth and mild soap. Q: Is the dorsal shell trimmable? A: Yes, the toe section can be trimmed by a trained medical professional if necessary. There is a cut line incorporated into the plastic to help guide trimming. Q: Why does the pump not properly fit into the feature in the dorsal shell? A: The pump can be re centered by simply and carefully removing it from the softgoods and repositioned directly into the holes on the dorsal shell. It is easier to put the pump into the holes on the dorsal shell then gently re positioning the dorsal shell. The Velcro on the back of the pump feature should stick to the softgood liner in the proper place. Q: Is the softgood trimmable? A: No, the softgoods were not designed to be trimmed. If your walker has an extra pressure point pad (not attached) then that piece can be trimmed as necessary. Q: Does the walker come in any other color? A: No, currently, it only comes in one color. Q: What is the increase in height when wearing the walker? A: Rebound Walkers were design to have a heel height similar to most shoes. However, depending on what size you wear and how heavy you are, it can range from 1.25 to 1.5in Q: Why don t all Rebound Air Walkers rock smoothly when manually rolling the rocker sole?

5 A: The soft molded EVA foam may present with minor variations due to the expansion of the foam. These variations may be evident when manually rolling the rocker sole shape in an unweighted walker on the ground or countertop. These variations are however imperceptible under weight bearing due to the soft nature of the foam. Our walkers are routinely inspected and meet Ossur's stringent specifications. Characteristically, the rocker bottom sole has a forefoot rocker pattern that functionally relocates the apex of the forefoot rocker posterior to the metatarsal heads. As such, it reduces pressure on the metatarsal heads and promotes the transition from mid stance to toe off during gait. The Rebound Air Walker rocker bottom sole is designed to optimize this functionality with EVA sole material enabling a shock absorbing heel strike, even gait from heel to toe and absorption of uneven elements on a surface, e.g. small stones.
