3 Why are we doing this Study? Investigate land-uses for any undeveloped parcels Understand potential traffic impacts in the corridor Balance between traffic, livability and development

4 Project Purpose Identify transportation and land-use recommendations that Preserve the character of the corridor Mitigate the traffic concerns Address safety and quality of life concerns Integrate with Town s Comprehensive Plan update Improve safety for all users A public outreach approach that develops a mutual understanding of issues and builds consensus

16 Complete Streets No one design prescription for complete streets Ingredients that may be found on a complete street include: Sidewalks and frequent crossing opportunities Accessible pedestrian signals Bike accommodations Comfortable and accessible public transportation stops Median islands and more A complete street is designed to balance safety and convenience for everyone using the road.
