3 2018 Outdoor Program Key Dates 2018 Toyota National Championships Host Cities Announced Laval, QC (U15 Cup) & Surrey, BC (U17 Cup) After an extensive bid evaluation process, six cities were selected to host the 2018 and 2019 Toyota CSA Club National Championships. In 2018, Canada Soccer s three selected locations are: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Challenge/Jubilee) Surrey, British Columbia (U 17 Cup) Laval, Québec (U 15 Cup) In 2019, Canada Soccer s three locations will be: St. John s, Newfoundland Labrador (Challenge/Jubilee); Charlottetown, Prince Edwardd Island (U 17 Cup); and Edmonton, Alberta (U 15 Cup). Canadaa Soccer s Toyota National Championships have served ass our nation s premier amateur competition for more than 100 years, with the men s competition inaugurated in 1913 and the women s competition inaugurated in At all age levels, the Toyota National Championships provide a meaningful soccer experience for host cities and participating teams, as well as the players, coaches, support staff, officials, and volunteers. These competitions are complimented by both the Futsal Canadian Championship (since 2015) and the Canadian Championship featuring Canada s professional clubs (since 2008). In a historic vote held in Moscow on Wednesday, the United Bid of Canada, Mexico and the United States beatt out Morocco to win the right to co host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking the first time that international soccer s marquee event will touch down on Canadian soil. The United Bid won the vote over Moroccoo during a special congressional meeting where every single member nation of FIFA, excluding the four potential host countries, cast a ballot. Hosting a FIFA World Cup is an extraordinary honor and privilege, Steven Reed, President of Canada Soccer, said in a statement. The 2026 World Cup will expand to 48 teams from 32, and will feature a new format of 16 round robin groups of three teams with thee top two from each pool advancing to a 32 nation knockout round. The tournamentt will still take place over 32 days. The United Bid calls for the U.S. to host 60 matches, including all games from the quarter finals through to the final. Canada and Mexico would each host 10 games (potential Canadian citied include Edmonton, Montreal, and Toronto). In total, 23 cities are part of the United Bid, and 16 cities will be selected by FIFA to host games. Page 4

NCCP Fundamentals (U6/U8) This 7 hour course is designed to provide the coach with the tools to manage and teach this age group effectively with an emphasis on physical literacy and fun. NCCP Learning To Train (L2T U10/U12) This two day, 144 hour course will emphasis technique and skill development, basic tactics, session planning and goalkeeping. NCCP Soccer For Life (S4L U14+) This two day, 14 hour course will emphasis technique and skill development, principless of play, systems of play, session planning and goalkeeping. COMPETITIVE COACH STREAM ASA Provincial C License Completion of a 21 hour training course and an official evaluation (Training to Train Stage of Development). ASA Provincial B License Completion of the training course totaling 30 hours and an official evaluation process (Training to Train Stage of Development) ). CSA National B License Completion of the training course totaling 40 hours and an official evaluation process (Training to Compete Stage of Development). CSA National A License Completion of the training course totaling 90 hours and an official evaluation process (Training to Compete Stage of Development). WHAT IS FC METRO S TDP (Technical Development Plan) )? FC Metro's TDP Academy curriculum is designed to continue developing a Players "4 Pillars of Player Development" to provide our Players with every opportunity to reach their maximum potential and compete at the highest levels.
