Then look no further than Costa Brava! The name alone conjures up thoughts of a gorgeous holiday. And lovers of football can add the magic of FC Barcelona into the mix as well. Each year, the popular coastal region to the north of Barcelona attracts around 1000 teams from across Europe and even the USA to its sunny climes. The magnificent beaches, endless attractions, beautiful weather and the magical sound of Camp Nou stadium are like a magnet for football fanatics. Euro-Sportring will be adding another series of exciting international tournaments to this location. Copa Mediterraneo - 1/6

2 Programme(1) Euro-Sportring has been active in Spain since the 1960s. Back then, they organised meetings between clubs and friendly matches. Euro-Sportring now organises annual tournaments that are attended by some 1,000 teams from 13 nations. The Copa Mediterraneo is a joint project with the Catalan Football Association, which provides referees, amongst other things. SATURDAY Arrival and welcome in Spain, check in and receipt of tournament information SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY (1) Evening Informative team leader meeting with snacks and drinks. Free time. Start of the match programme. Evening Welcome ceremony featuring a show and music in the Blanes sports arena Continuation of the match programme. Free time. (option: visit to Camp nou*). 3 Organiser This tournament is a joint project between CF Tordera football club, the Catalonian football association and Euro-Sporting. The Catalonian football association also provides the referees. Sport facillity "Futbol Top Ten"Sports Park The tournament will take place in an incredible sports park just outside of Blanes, between Lloret de Mar and Calella. There are 14 grass pitches, 18 changing rooms and a bar. The sports park has a central tournament office, an information desk and information boards where match results are updated every hour, an 'EHBO' (first aid) post and a large car park. This area, north of Barcelona, is actually one of the most popular coastlines in Europe. In particular, between the towns of Calella and Lloret de Mar you'll find miles of beautiful sandy beaches and boulevards dotted with cafés, clubs and restaurants. Every spot along the coast, from Lloret de Mar to Santa Susanna of Malgrat de Mar, has its own unique charm and attractions. Barcelona Barcelona is somewhere you simply have to see. This unique city has a number of extraordinary attractions. The Sagrada Familia is one of the most bizarre and characteristic buildings in the city. This cathedral has been under construction since The Plaza de Catalunya and las Ramblas are also special meeting points, with lots of shops, restaurants and terraces. Other beautiful areas include the Gothic quarter, with its narrow, picturesque alleyways; Montjuic hill, the location of the Olympic Park and with a stunning view over the city and sea. And last but not least, don't miss out on a trip to Park Guell. FC Barcelona, Camp Nou Stadium A visit to Camp Nou stadium is definitely worth the effort. With 0,000 seats it's the largest stadium in Europe. And of course, as a football fan, there's no getting away from FC Barcelona. For the people of Catalonia, Barça is more than just a football club.
