End of Second OT Score Update?

To decide the winner! What s the call? Think about the question before answering. Keep in mind things like, stops play, the restart is... and is taken from..., etc.

What s the call? The player taking a goal kick, kicks the ball to his keeper who is standing in the goal area. The keeper tries to stop the ball but it goes in the net. What is the restart and explain your reasoning? 1. The goal kick is retaken. 2. Because it did not leave the penalty area, the ball was never in play. 3. If play hasn t restarted, the original restart cannot change. 60 Points

Next players

What s the call? While the ball is in play, two players of the same team commit unsporting behaviour towards each other on the field of play. What action does the referee take? 1. Stop play. 2. Caution both players for unsporting behavior. 3. Restart with an indirect free kick, where the offence occurred, for the opposing team. 60 Points

Next players

What s the call? A player, running with the ball, sees a defender immediately in front of him and runs off the field of play to continue his run. The opponent holds him beyond the touch line to prevent him continuing his run. What action does the referee take? 1. Stop play. 2. Cautions the player, who committed the foul, for unsporting behavior. 3. Restart with a drop ball, where the ball was when play was stopped because the offence occurred off the field of play. 60 Points

Next players

What s the call? A player, who was given permission to leave the field, enters the field of play without receiving a signal from the referee and then deliberately handles the ball. What action does the referee take? 1. Stop play. 2. Caution player for entering the field of play without permission. 3. Restart with a direct free kick, or penalty kick (depending on where it occurred) which punishes the more serious offence. 4. If in the opinion of the referee, the player is also guilty of unsporting behaviour, by deliberately handling the ball, he is sent off for receiving a second caution in the same match. 60 Points

Next players

What s the call? A defender plays the ball back towards his goal but the ball is intercepted by an attacker in an offside position, who shoots and scores. What action does the referee take? 1. Award the goal. 2. Law 11 states that "A player in an offside position is only penalized if, at the moment the ball touches or is played by one of his TEAM. The ball was not played by one of his team so he cannot be offside. 60 Points

Next players

What s the call? An attacker is on a break away and the goalkeeper comes running out towards him. The attacker shoots, and the goalkeeper, who is now 20 yards from the goal line, punches the ball over the cross bar and out of play. What action does the referee take? 1. Stop play, however, seeing that the ball crossed over the goal line, play is assumed to be stopped. 2. Send off the goal keeper for denying a goal scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball. 3. Restart would be a direct free kick, for the attacking team, from where the foul was committed. 60 Points

Next players

What s the call? What action does the referee take if a player shoots on goal and a defender, standing in his own goal area, deliberately punches the ball with his hand, where it rebounds off the cross bar, back to an attacker, who shoots the ball into the net? 1. The goal stands. 2. The referee will CAUTION the player who deliberately handled the ball for denying a goal scoring opportunity. 3. Restart will be a kick off for the team who was scored on. 60 Points Final Question of the Game

End of the Game Who are the winners?

The Laws of the Game Thanks for participating
