5 Organisation Diagram Explanation 3 team Game - Outside team change every 3 minutes - Inside teams change when they lose possession In this game we will work on the general concepts of ball possession in the front third. Team task 1 Can we maintain Possession, be patient and move the ball quickly with 1 and 2 touch passing so we move the opposition defence around. Player Actions Time movement to show for the ball in space Cues Outside player(s) - Can you support the receiver at all times so we can probe for a clear opening. Inside Player(s) - Can you show for the ball so outside players have a clear forward pass option. Team task 2 Can we support the ball in a way that will give us clear opportunities on Goal Player Actions Can you create angles for forward passes so we can receive facing forwards. Cues Inside Player(s) - When the outside players receive the ball can you lose your marker and offer angled support. Inside Player(s) - Technical - Angled support, time movement, Position yourself on the half turn, open your body, to show far foot.

8 Organisation Diagram Position Specific Notes (9) 1. 9 stays high to make the pitch long 2. 9 supports the build up - when the he comes ball side 7,11,10 move to also stays far so he can make positive movements to attack the ball from any wide deliveries 4. 9 often makes front post runs 5. 9 drops off in the closer build up so he can make explosive forward runs 6. 9 is always creating angles to support the player on the ball 7. 9 if he cannot turn with his back to goal he can support any 1-2s 8. 9 is in a back to goal situation he can spin off the defender of the defender is marking too tight Position Specific Notes (7 & 11) 1. 7 and 11 tuck in to support the central build 2. 7 and 11 look to show on the half turn with short angled support 3. 7 and 11 support the wide build up to create positive runs from and 11 support 2-5 and try and receive so they can face forwards and attack the defenders 5. 7 and 11 drop off 9 to create a triangle centrally 6. 7 and 11 drop off so they can explode forwards to create a penetrating run or a decoy run for others 7. 7 and 11 at times stay wide so they can use their 1v1 skills to run at the defender 8. 7 and 11 have the technical skills to receive the ball from all angles 9. 7 and 11 use off the ball movement to disturb the opposition & 11 also play in the 9 and 10 space but do understand the change in roles
