1 Standard Chartered Cup 2016 Terms and Conditions Standard Chartered Cup These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in the Standard Chartered Cup Tournament (the Tournament ). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before deciding to participate in the Tournament. 2. To participate in the Tournament you must be a male Brunei citizen or permanent resident 18 years of age or over (as at the date of entry), have a valid international passport and must be eligible to travel to the United Kingdom (UK). 3. By entering the Tournament, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. In addition, you are representing that the details provided are true and complete. 4. The Tournament is open to amateur players. You must not be a professional or semi-professional player. 5. Each registered team cannot have more than two (2) players who are also participating in the 2015/2016 national futsal leagues. 6. The Standard Chartered Cup is open to Standard Chartered bank staff in Brunei Darussalam, Clients and Employees of Clients (by invitation), as well as the general public subject to clause 9 below. 7. The Tournament will commence on 4 th April until 9 th April The winning team will be determined during the Tournament. 8. Members of the public may register for a chance to take part in the Tournament by completing the Standard Chartered Cup 2016 Registration Form which can be found on the Bank s website. You may submit a video presentation or a team photo which can support your registration. 9. Teams selected to take part in the Tournament will be based on creativity and quality of entry write-up and/or presentation. Selected teams will be announced by 28 th March Team captains of the selected teams will be notified via phone call. 10. By submitting their registration, participants agree to grant the Bank, without limitation worldwide and without prior approval or compensation, the right to use their photographic or video images or likenesses, in any and all media, for

2 the purpose of operating and promoting the Tournament and for reasonable commercial activities. 11. All entries should be submitted via the Bank s website on on or before 25 th March Any submissions received after this date shall not be eligible for selection. 12. Each individual participant may only register under one team. In the event a participant is found to have registered under multiple teams, the relevant team(s) will be disqualified. 13. Participants are strictly not allowed to transfer their registrations to other individuals after their registrations have been submitted. 14. Each participating team in the Tournament will agree to make a donation of at least BND100, which will go towards the Tabung Kompleks Kebajikan Kebangsaan managed by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Brunei Darussalam. Standard Chartered reserves the right to amend the charitable organisation which will benefit from this tournament. 15. In the event the winning team is unable to participate in the itinerary to the UK, the prize will be given to the 2 nd place winning team of the Tournament. No alternative prize will be offered to the original winning team. 16. Participation is not transferable. The winning team cannot replace players for the prize. 17. All promotional images produced by the Bank associated with the Tournament, contestants, winners and prizes will be the property of the Bank. 18. The Bank shall not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the Registration Form. 19. The Bank is not responsible for entries to the Tournament not delivered or delayed in delivery due to any technical or operational reasons. 20. You agree that any and all personal information/data relating to you collected by the Bank may be used and disclosed for purposes relating to the Tournament and to such persons as may be involved in operating or promoting the Tournament. Collection and use of your personal information/data shall be in accordance with the Bank s privacy statement which may be found at

3 21. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that the Bank will not be liable, under any circumstances and in any way, for any errors or omissions, loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your participation in this Tournament. 22. If you are in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions the Bank may immediately withdraw your participation in the Tournament without notice. The Bank s decision shall be final. 23. The Bank reserves the right to cancel the Tournament at any time if it feels it appropriate to do so due to technical, unauthorised human intervention or any other reason. The Bank may change any dates set for the Tournament at its absolute discretion by notifying the relevant participants. 24. Your entry into the Tournament is deemed an unequivocal acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Grand Prize 1. All seven (7) team members of the winning team from the Tournament will receive: a) flights (return economy class) to and from Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom, b) transfers during the itinerary, c) accommodation for the duration of the trip, d) tickets to a Liverpool FC match at Anfield e) training session at the Liverpool FC Academy (itinerary subject to change depending on final confirmation of flights and activities and availability). 2. Participants should be able to travel to the United Kingdom between 4 th May to 9 th May 2016 in order to receive the grand prize. 3. Participants are liable for any costs relating to damages. The hotel reserves the right to refuse services to any guests who do not adhere to their health and safety, general terms and conditions, or who cause a disturbance at the venue. Hotel rooms and event venues are non-smoking and any guests found to be smoking on-site or around the venue surrounding areas will be liable for a fine and will be asked to vacate the premises if any kind of disturbance or damage is caused. 4. Any specific dietary requirements must be provided at least 2 weeks in advance of the trip. 5. Participants will arrive in Liverpool, UK in time for the Liverpool vs Watford match on 7 th May The Bank shall make all necessary flight arrangements which will be announced closer to date of the tournament, and no change to travel itinerary may be made at a later date. Participants who wish to make any amendment to

4 the flight details will need to make their own arrangement and at their own cost. 6. Participants are responsible for their own expenses not provided for in the grand prize such as personal expenses, additional meals, souvenirs, etc. 7. All participants in the itinerary (for the duration of the trip) participate at their own risk. Each participant will be required to sign a disclaimer before taking part in any activities in the itinerary. 8. The participating members of the itinerary are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas. Travel and other insurances are not included in the prize, and the winner is strongly advised to take out insurance cover for all appropriate risks. All other expenses incurred in addition to the prize components expressly set out above are at the sole expense of the participants. The Bank and/ or Liverpool Football Club is not responsible for any consequences, including costs incurred, if the participants visa application is rejected or unavailable in time and reserves the right to withdraw the prize if, for any reason, the participant is unable to travel or attend grand prize trip. 9. Prizes are non-transferable and subject to availability. The Bank reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes which may not be of equivalent value at any time by notifying the relevant winners. 10. All promotional images produced by the Bank, any member of the Bank group and/or the Agent associated with the Tournament, entrants, winners and prizes will be the property of the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to publicize the names of winners, their photographs and their audio and/or visual recordings in periodicals (for example, the LFC Matchday Programmes and LFC Magazine), the Channels, the official websites of the Bank and/or any member of the Bank group. 11. The winners may be required to participate in public relations events to generate press coverage for the Tournament. This may include without limitation, quotes given by the winners for inclusion in press releases, attendance at prize giving ceremonies, press conferences and interviews.

5 Appendix 1 Standard Chartered Cup: Tournament format, rules and regulations Tournament rules and regulations The following rules and regulations will apply to the local tournament. Teams will be informed of any changes to the above rules on the match day in advance of play. Number of players Each team will consist of a maximum of seven (7) players. Each match shall be played by two (2) teams of five (5) players, including the goalkeeper. Any of the other players may change places with the goalkeeper, provided that the referee is informed before the change is made, and that the change is made during a stoppage in the game. The Rules of the Tournament allow for rolling substitutes to be used. The number of rolling substitutions is unlimited. Players Equipment Footwear shall be worn in accordance with the Laws of the Game, and subject to any local regulations. (No metal studs or metal blades) The wearing of shin guards, which must be covered by socks in accordance with the Laws of the Game, is compulsory. Any player who fails to wear shin guards does so at their own risk. Timekeeper / scorer The referee shall: Record goals scored Act as timekeeper and signify full-time by a whistle Supervise the use of rolling substitutes Duration of the game The duration of the game will be played over 2 halfs with 7 minutes per half (total 14 minutes) matches. No allowances will be made in games for stoppages except in extreme circumstances.

6 Start of play At the beginning of a game the choice of ends and kick off shall be decided by the toss of a coin. Play shall be started with a normal kick off at the centre of the pitch. The game shall be re-started in like manner after a goal has been scored. After any other stoppage the game shall be re-started by the referee dropping the ball at a point nearest to where it was when play was suspended, unless it was in the goalkeeper s possession, when the player shall, at the referee s signal, roll or pass the ball out. Ball in and out of play The ball shall be in play at all times from the start of the game unless: The ball has crossed the goal-line, side-lines or the barricades surrounding the playing area; The referee has given the signal for full-time; The game has been stopped by the referee; When the ball goes out of play a member of the opposing team shall pass the ball into play. You cannot score directly from a pass in (throw in) Offside There is no offside. Players may place themselves in any part of the playing area. Fouls and misconduct A player who unfairly impedes the progress of an opponent when not playing the ball shall be penalised by the awarding of an indirect free kick. A player who is sent off shall not be allowed to take any further part in matches during that stage (minimum 2 matches). No substitute is allowed for a player dismissed for misconduct during the game in which the offence occurred.

7 Free kick / Penalty kick Free kick: When a player is taking a direct or indirect free kick all of the opposing players shall be at least 6 yards from the ball until it is in play. All free kicks given against the defending side for infringements committed in or near the penalty area shall be taken from where the free kick was awarded. Penalty kick: A penalty kick shall be taken 10 yards from the centre of the goal being attacked, and except for the defending goalkeeper, only the player taking the kick can enter the penalty area until they take the penalty kick. All players can enter in their own and opponents penalty areas at any time apart from penalty kicks. Only the penalty taker and Goalkeeper are allowed in the penalty area until the penalty kick has been taken. Goalkeeper returning the ball into play All goalkicks start with a throw. Remember they cannot go overhead height. After holding the ball the goalkeeper must immediately return the ball into play with a throw Goalkeepers must not hold onto the ball for more than 6 seconds. In the event of this happening the referee will award an indirect free kick. If goalkeepers receive the ball from open play, they can pass it with their feet. If they decide to pick it up then they must throw the ball. General rules of the game Apart from the above rules the matches will be run as a normal game. Overhead height is permitted at all times. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of England and Wales.
