1 H.N.Shankaranarayana, Bsc., M.Ped Physical Education Director Date:25/08/2015 Results of VTU Inter Collegiate Mysuru Zone Badminton Men & Women Championships Organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, NIE, Mysuru from August 24-25, 2015 at NIE Diamond Jubilee Indoor Sports Complex. The Championships was Inaugurated by Sri.M.B.Huchagondar, Physical Education Director, JSSCW, Saraswathipuram, Mysuru. Dr.G.L.Shekar, Principal presided. Sri.Huchagondar stressed the need for fair play and Dr.Shekar impressed upon participants to indulge more in Sports to keep fit and release stress of Engineering academics. Col.N.G.Krishna Prasad, a distinguished alumnus and serving colonel of Indian Army, former NIE Badminton team Captain was the Chief Guest for the valediction. He stressed for dedication from young engineers in the fields of their interest to get the best results. Sri.H.N.Shankaranarayana, Convener of the Championships presided.
