2 TSC SCHOLARSHIP Players will train full time with the TSC coaching staff and will be trained as a professional club would be. Every player in the scholarship programme will receive: Regular coaching sessions with highly qualified, experienced and professional football coaches. Training on individual technical ability and tactical understanding to prepare them for a potential future in the game. Position specific training for individuals. A full fitness programme including SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness) work, strength and conditioning work and individual programmes and structured, periodical fitness testing. Specialist Goalkeeper coaching sessions with J4K (Just4Keepers) St George s School & TSC in KSFA league and Cup competitions, as well as the opportunity to compete in additional tournaments. The opportunity to participate in fixtures against professional, semi-professional and University football teams. Players will benefit from TSC s extensive links within the semi-professional and professional game. The opportunity to represent TSC in European competitions Players will receive a full personalised Nike kit package

3 TSC SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY TO DO FA LEVEL 1 COACHING BADGE All players in our coaching programme will have their FA Level 1 coaching badge fully funded during their time at the school Everyone who passes this will be a fully qualified football coach This can lead to opportunities with us for future employment It will be good for anyone considering going to University, or for further scholarships in the USA This usually costs 179 and you have to travel to Maidstone, ours will be free and run locally.

5 HEAD COACHES OUR AIM IS TO HELP EVERY PLAYER IN THE ACADEMY REACH THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL FOOTBALLING POTENTIAL HEAD COACH - Seb Tidey Seb is a UEFA B licence coach who is now studying his A licence. As well as this, Seb holds his Youth Award Module 3 and qualifications in SAQ, Football Psychology, Futsal and coaching disabled footballers. Seb started off coaching for Charlton Athletic FC before moving to work in New York for the New York Red Bulls Player Development Programme. Another spell with Charlton was followed by time working for Total Football Academy in Australia. On his return, Seb spent time working for Chelsea Football Club in one of their satellite Academy programmes before starting a position with Gillingham Football Club as one of the head coaches in their Academy set up. As well as this, Seb also works for the FA as a coach mentor, helping develop grassroots coaches in the region. HEAD COACH Alex Fitzjohn Alex is a UEFA B licence coach, who has also completed his Youth Award Module 3. Alex completed a Sports Science and Coaching Degree at Greenwich University where he was also the head coach of the mens first team. Throughout university, and subsequently, Alex worked for Charlton Athletic FC before joining TSC in Since then Alex s excellent coaching ability was recognised by Gillingham FC who also offered him a job in their Academy set up which is a role Alex still works in, alongside his role running TSC.

6 ACADEMY TOURS TSC ON TOUR AT HOME AND ABROAD Each year the TSC Development, Elite and Advanced groups are all invited on tour. These tours are around England and abroad, they are a fantastic experience for all the players, parents and coaches. The tours are great bonding experiences for the TSC players. They also get to experience different cultures and have played in a number of huge youth tournaments against teams from all over the world. Our tours so far have included: Camber Sands 2014, 2015, 2016 The Easter Open Holland 2015, 2016 This seasons upcoming tour. Barcelona 2017 The tours are one of the best parts of the academy and will provide memories that the players will never forget for the rest of their lives.
