Visit our You tube Channel, select 'Playlists' and choose from one of the categories, Foot Skills, Passing, Agility, Nutrition, Goalkeeper Training, Dribbling Moves, Accuracy and Control please note that this is also good for coaches / trainers too Camp Description: MLU 2012 Spring Break Camp April 9th - 13th, 2012 The focus of the training will be to improve the first touch and speed of play for all leveled players. Players will work on receiving the ball in various scenarios both in passive and match speed situations. Learning valuable techniques on how to receive a ball both on the ground and in the air with various surfaces. We will implement small sided games to create game-like scenarios to encourage players to think quicker making better and smarter decisions, improving their first touch, creating space to run with the ball, play that simple or defense splitting passes and much more please visit our website to sign up. 2 CIRCLE POSSESSION GAME Exercise Objectives This is a great game for producing quality passing techniques under pressure. The game can swiftly shift from 6 v 3 to 3 v 1. Field Preparation: 10 Players (7 v 3) Circle approximately 20 yards in diameter. Supply of Balls and Cones Colored Bibs Coaching Pointers: Place six cones equally distance around the circle perimeter. Place one player between each cone. These players are restricted to moving on the line and in between theirs cones. Position one receiver and three defenders inside the circle. The object is for the seven player to maintain possession of the ball and achieve 10 consecutive passes. Start with unlimited touch then develop to two touch, then one touch passing. If the defenders win the ball the must try and keep the ball away from the center player. If they get 8 passes they score a point. Focus On: Quick exchange of the ball, quality passing. High pressure defending Communication

Emphasis is placed on quick counter attack and containing attacks when playing with number down. Fun work out for the goalkeepers also! Field Preparation: 8 Players (3 v 3 plus 2) Area 20 yards x 20 Yards Supply of Balls, Cones, Bibs Full Size Goals Coaching Pointers: The practice is directional towards goal. Play 3 v 3 on the field, whichever team has possession has the extra two players. The five attacking players must try and score a goal. First team to score 5 goals wins. Players should start with unlimited touches then conditioned to "two" and "one" touch. Balls out over the end line are thrown back into play by the goalkeeper. Focus on: Attacking with Width. Quick exchange of passes. Quick Counter Attacks

COACHES HALL OF FAME MLU Warriors Assistant Coach / Moorestown High School Girls Soccer Head Coach Bill Mulvihill will be among the inductees who will be enshrined March 25 by the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Mulvihill is being recognized not only for the Quakers on-field success but also for his promotion of the sport. Bill is also the president of the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association. Well done Bill MLU TRAINER MLU would like to congratulate MLU Trainer Andy Bairner and his wife Liz on the Birth of the new born Daughter Lily 5 week old Lily and mother are doing great. MLU would like bring to your attention that there is NO PARKING on any grassy areas near the training and game fields thanks

Pets can be a safety issue and sanitation issue for our players and families. If you choose to bring your pet please remember that according to township ordinances all pets must be kept on a leash and all excrement must be picked up and disposed of properly on public properties, which include our soccer fields. Let s also remember that not everyone is comfortable around animals and that discretion should be exercised as to the proximity you allow your pet to others. If someone seems uncomfortable with your pet in the location, you and your pet should move. Thank you for your consideration
