2 PREVIEW : SC BASTIA - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN SC Bastia - Paris Saint-Germain Feature Preview After racking up a century of Paris Saint-Germain goals, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has Bastia in his sights as the capital club bid to retain the Coupe de la Ligue trophy at the Stade de France and complete the first part of a possible quadruple. Ibrahimovic missed last season's 2-1 final win over Olympique Lyonnais through injury and saw Edinson Cavani scored both the goals. Ibrahimovic will be extra-motivated for Saturday's Bastia clash as the Swede will miss the midweek Champions League quarter-final first leg at home to former club Barcelona through suspension and on Thursday evening received a four-match domestic ban for comments made after the Ligue 1 loss at Bordeaux last month. The domestic suspension kicks in after Saturday's final. Heavily criticised for a lacklustre display in the crucial 3-2 victory for the leaders at OIympique de Marseille in Week 31 of Ligue 1 play, Ibrahimovic scored a brilliant hat-trick in the 4-1 win over Saint-Etienne in the Coupe de France semi-finals on Wednesday evening. Ibrahimovic has scored two hat-tricks in his last three club appearances in all competitions and has 11 goals in his last six appearances for club and country. Against Saint-Etienne he leapt from 99 goals to 102, moving past Dominique Rocheteau to second on PSG's all-time top scorers list behind Pedro Pauleta (109). Ibrahimovic has scored 73 times in Ligue 1, 15 in the Champions League, nine in the Coupe de France, three in the Coupe de la Ligue and twice in the Trophée des Champions win over Guingamp last summer in China. Bastia know all about Ibrahimovic's quality with the superstar's scorpion kick against the Corsicans voted the Ligue 1 goal of the season in After the Saint-Etienne fixture, Les Verts boss Christophe Galtier hailed Ibrahimovic as the best foreigner to ever grace the French game. SC Bastia - Paris Saint-Germain - HISTORY: Paris Saint-Germain beat Bastia 2-0 in the very first Coupe de la Ligue final in at the Parc des Princes. Alain Roche and Rai scored the PSG goals. Bastia have managed only one point from their last three matches, that after four wins from their previous five as part of a run of only one defeat in 11 Ligue 1 matches. They have won 17, drawn 11 and lost three of their games to date. - Laurent Blanc's side had not been higher than second after a matchday this season until Week 30. However, they had been permanent members of the top four since a 2-0 win at Caen on September 24 (Wk 7). - Last weekend, Laurent Blanc's side won 3-2 at Olympique de Marseille. André-Pierre Gignac (30' and 43') scored both OM goals. He has scored from open play in just six games. - Javier Pastore has provided six assists this season - only three L1 players have laid on more goals for their team - while Marco Verratti has set up five goals. - Ibrahimovic finished Ligue 1 top scorer for the second successive season last season with 26 goals, four fewer than his previous campaign in France. Team-mate Cavani was the top flight's joint-second top scorer with 16 goals. - Ibrahimovic scored 41 goals in all competitions last season, beating Carlos Bianchi's previous club record of 39 goals in one campaign, set in Cavani netted 25 altogether and Ezequiel Lavezzi got 12 goals in total. - Ibrahimovic provided 11 assists last season, a tally bettered only by AS Monaco's James Rodríguez (12). - PSG's total of 84 goals scored last season was the highest of any Ligue 1 team - Monaco, who had the second-highest tally, scored Paris have conceded 30 goals thus far this season. Four sides - AS Monaco (22), Lyon (25) and Saint-Étienne (25) and LOSC Lille (27) - have let in fewer. - They have kept 11 clean sheets so far. The Week loss in Bordeaux was only the second time this season that they have conceded more than twice in a game. Their 4-2 defeat at Bastia in January was the first time they had let in four goals in a game since a 4-4 draw at Lyon in February PSG conceded a league-low 23 goals in total last season, three fewer than LOSC Lille, who had the second-best defensive record. - No Paris player has appeared in every league game this season. 6 SC Bastia - Sporting Club de Bastia finished 10th last season in their 31st top-flight campaign. They had finished 12th in after winning consecutive promotions under Frédéric Hantz in and Bastia fell to Evian in the round of 16 of the Coupe de la Ligue and to Lens in the round of 32 of the Coupe de France last season. - Founded in 1905, Bastia have been second-tier champions twice, but their only major trophy success is the Coupe de France in 1981, when they beat Saint-Etienne 2-1 in the final, with Cameroon great Roger Milla among the scorers. - After a best-ever third-place finish in 1977, I Turchini also reached the UEFA Cup final in 1978, losing 3-0 on aggregate to Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. - Their 16,160-capacity Stade Armand-Cesari is in Furiani, just outside Bastia, and was the scene of one of Europe's worst stadium disasters when, on May , a temporary stand collapsed prior to the Coupe de France semi-final against Olympique de Marseille, killing 18 fans and injuring thousands. - Coach Claude Makelele was relieved of his functions following the Week 12 defeat to En Avant Guingamp.
