4 ABOUT US Kaptiva Sports Academy Barcelona is an elite soccer academy. The Academy s main goal is to offer the best annual soccer program to talented soccer players from all over the world, helping them reach their full potential through a fully integrated soccer program. We believe that living, studying and training in a foreign country is an invaluable experience that a player will never forget and the benefits of such an experience will be embedded positively into that individual for the rest of his life. 04

7 LOCATION KSA is located in a small city named Sant Cugat del Vallés. Sant Cugat has become an affluent suburb of Barcelona due to its location (only 20 kilometres from the city), its natural surroundings and its pedestrian shopping area. Sant Cugat also offers restaurants, a concert venue, two cinemas, and one large shopping centre. The city has its own train station with a direct metro connection into Barcelona city centre. All the facilities needed for the good development of the player are integrated on the same area, wich facilities the day-by-day successful performance. Both school and training facilities are situated only 6 minutes from the residence. 07

10 10 COACHING STAFF JOAN DELLÀ TECHNICAL DIRECTOR Joan has been Technical Director and Coach of several oficial FCBarcelona International Soccer Camps, supervising the development of hundreds of young players from different countries and cultures (USA, Japan, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Vietnam, etc.). He also was coaching on female soccer: general goalkeeper coaching at FCB Youth Academy and Head Coach of 1st Division team. UEFA Pro Coach FCBarcelona (2006/2011) Sports Manager Degree from the RFEF (Spanish Soccer Federation) International Football Course Instructor in Sydney (Australia) Physical Education Teacher in Barcelona (Spain)

MARC FORTUNY STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACHING Marc combines coaching at KSA with the Strength & Conditioning Coaching in a Semi Pro team in Spanish 3rd Division.

11 MARC FORTUNY STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACHING Marc combines coaching at KSA with the Strength & Conditioning Coaching in a Semi Pro team in Spanish 3rd Division. Marc also has lot of experience with young players and the combination of both soccer coach positions makes him an expert in the U18 teams. He was a coach on the specific technique area of Cesc Fàbregas (Chelsea) Soccer Academy. UEFA PRO Coach Strength & Conditioning Coach in 3rd Division Spanish team. U18 Head Coach in UE Cornella Technique Area Coach in Fabregas Soccer Academy IGNASI TORRES U18 COACH Ignasi has been working with young soccer players for several years. He has coached boys from 14 to 18 years old in the best clubs, camps and other events. The last team that he coached finished the regular competition just before FC Barcelona and they won several tournaments like Danone Nations Cup. Ignasi was involved for 8 months in a US soccer school project with Bayern Munich. UEFA PRO Coach U14 Coach at GPS in Masschussets (USA) U12 Assistant Coach in UE Cornellà (Spain) NIKE Camp Coach RAI RAGA U16 COACH Rai has been working with young soccer players for several years. He is currently combining the coaching at KSA with the strength & conditioning coaching in a Semi Pro team in Spanish 3rd Division. His FCBarcelona Escola coach experience in different soccer camps here in Spain, helped him to be selected for be a personal coach development of players in Africa. 15 Designed for competitive players looking for an opportunity to play in a Spanish semi-professional team. The Players will be placed in accordance to their level in a Spanish club for training and competition. In addition, players participate in exclusive daily KSA training to complement the Club training in order to add quality to the game and work on those areas that need improvement. 19 Individualized Training It is extremely important that young players practice their technical skills and improve their mobility when not practicing with their team. Club Training Team trainings main objective is to develop team cohesiveness and tactics. Training sessions are designed to advance both the individual players and the level of the team technically & tactically. Competition games Our participants will participate in at least 5 games against top club s youth academies who belongs to professional clubs currently playing in the first or second Spanish soccer divisions. Soccer Report The purpose of our soccer reports is to evaluate to all players the most relevant soccer aspects such as: Technical Ability, Tactical Awareness, Physical Aspects and Personality traits. Sport Nutritionist Guidance through which our athletes will receive nutritional counseling and education on matters of food and nutrition impacts on health and performance. 19

Our proven KSA methodology will offer players a 1 week intensive program, which is extendable to 2 months, including exclusive elite soccer training which is led and conducted by our experienced UEFA Pro Coaches. 32 ADMISSIONS PROCESS Prepare documentation about the player s background: a. Teams and clubs played in. b. Championships and leagues participated in and titles if any. c. Statistics: matches played per season, average minutes played per game during season, etc. In case we approve your application, we will send you the acceptance letter Contact us to make sure the program you have chosen fits all your expectations. Send us the arrival information of the player in order to arrange airport transfers Confirm and accept the final budget by sending the deposit payment.
