4 Year 9 Girls Football v Canadian Touring team Won 2-1 On Tuesday 13th October, the Girls 11 aside Football Team played against a team from Canada. During the first half we scored two goals thanks to Margarida and Summyr. In the second half Canada scored a goal, but thanks to some great goalkeeping from Harriet they failed to score an equaliser. The match finished 2-1securing our first win against these formidable opponents. Written by Emma R.

6 Results: Players, if you would like to submit match reports for your results then please get them to Mrs Day by Thursday of each week. Year 7 Boys Football v St. Simon Stock Won 2-0 Football fixture Tuesday 13th October, Maplesden Noakes 2 v St. Simon Stock 0 We were a very strong team and showed domination in our game possession with Owen and Jack B scoring they were great finishes! The score was 2-0. We are proud of this result as it was our first school match. We played well with strong attack and defence to keep us in the game and not concede. Our goalkeeper Luke T was fantastic. We want to thank the parents for coming along to watch and the teachers for their support, Written by Toby.

7 Year 7 Boys Football Lost 5-1 Aylesford The first ten minutes of the game we were very poor and were not able to create any chances to score. Very soon we were 2-0 down - a shot in the bottom right hand corner and a header. We then picked ourselves up and started to play better football and after a quick attack one of our players shot and it came off the defender and into the goal. Half time, Aylesford 2, Maplesden1. We played better football and created a lot of chances at the start of the second half but sadly we conceded some silly goals and went 4-1 down. We tried to fight back but Aylesford scored a fifth goal and the final score was Aylesford 5, Maplesden 1. Man of the Match goes to Ethan Clark because he played out of position and was ruthless and didn t let anything past him. Written by Jack B Year 10 Boys Football Drew 2-2 St. Simon Stock We started very strongly, passed the ball well and within five minutes scored a goal with Courtenay placing the ball into the bottom left hand corner to take the lead. Near the end of the first half we hit the crossbar from a another fantastic shot from Courtenay. Only a minute before half time St Simon Stock scored from a defensive error and then ten minutes into the second half another defensive error saw them score a second goal. With ten minutes to go Maplesden had two goals disallowed before George scored an equaliser from forty yards out.
