3 TAKE YOUR GAME TO THE NEXT LEVEL PROGRAM DELIVERY: FOOTBALL TRAINING INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS PERFORMANCE TESTS The City Football Performance Program is an intensive 5-night football training program for players aged 12-17, which takes place at Manchester City s world-class training facility, the City Football Academy. FOCUS AREAS: Delivered by City Football Schools coaches and specialists, the program gives players the opportunity to experience how City s teams strive to play beautiful football, and how professionals optimise their training sessions to earn a competitive edge. At the end of the program, players will take away a personal evaluation with valuable insight into their current performance, and a development plan to improve their individual game as they return to their school or club. 5 INDOOR PITCH CONNELL COLLEGE MANCHESTER INSTITUTE OF HEALTH & PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE THE ETIHAD CAMPUS ACADEMY PITCHES Each day players will be based at the City Football Academy, home to the First team, Women s team and Academy teams. Etihad Stadium Players will experience a behind-the-scenes tour, before completing the course with a closing ceremony in one of the stadium suites. Academy Pitches Players will train daily on the Academy pitches, located adjacent to Connell College and used year-round by the Club s Academy teams. Indoor Pitch The full-sized indoor field, Pitch 16, at the heart of the CFA s central training facility, is a truly inspirational setting in which to train and play. ETIHAD STADIUM Connell College Workshops, off-pitch sessions, lunchtimes and breaks will take place at Connell College, a modern educational facility used by some of City s Academy players. Manchester Institute of Health & Performance (MIHP) Players will get the unique opportunity to experience the facilities at the MIHP, an elite high-performance facility designed to develop athletes from all sports and frequently used by Manchester City players. 55
