In these figures estimates of 570,000 lbo frozen fresh and The frozen smoked are Included for firms failing to report on time. Theae holdings are lower by ,000 The frozen fresh and lower by lb* frozen smoked than those at February 1, Compared with March 1, 1952 figures, they are hi&ler by 3,620,000 lb. frozen fresh and hig1er by 919,000 lb. frozen smoked. There was an "out-of.atorage" movn.ent for all classifications of 8.2 million pounds at compared with a similar movement of 3.6 million pounds during February, SEA FI COD Stocks of trozen cod, not including estimates for late firma, were 6,632,000 lb., consisting of 5,635,000 lb. frozen fresh and 997,000 lb. frozen smoked The apparent net decrease during February was 1.7 mill ipn pounds as compared with a Bimiler movement of 443,000 pounds during February, The quantity reported as having been frozen during February was 2,064,000 lb., but no estimate is made for firma failing to report on time. Stocks of frozen haddock, not including estimates for late firma, totalled 2,019,000 lb, of which 1,586,000 lb. were frozen fresh and 433,000 The frozen smoked. Haddock holdings were 178,000 The lower than the itocks on hand last year and 404,000 lb lower than last month There were 1,406,000 lb. reported as having been frozen during February SAlMON Frozen salmon stocks at March 1 were 4,993,000 lb. without estimating for late firma as compared with 9,273,000 lbo last year and 8,158,000 lb. last month. The apparent net decrease during February was 3.2 million pounds as compared with a similar movement of 1.6 million pounds during the same month of Freezings during February were 72,000 lb. Ei Frozen stocks of herring, including kippers, were reported as being 8,798,000 lb. of which 8, lb. were fresh and 796,000 lb. smoked. Last year at the same date the combined figures were 6,458,000 lb. This month's figures show an increase of 476,000 pounds from last moflth'b total. The quantity frozen during February was 1,830,000 lb. OThER SEA FISH Other frozen stocks amounted to 9,984,000 lb., being reported as frozen fresh 9,852,000 lb., and frozen smoked 132,000 lb. All other aa fish reported as having been frozen during February totalled 1,101,000 lb. There were on band 4,578,000 lb, of inland fish frozen fresh. There were 196,000 lbo of inland fish frozen during the month of February,
