UNSUITABLE EXTINGUISHING EQUIPMT None in particular Special hazards arising from substance or mixture. HAZARDS CAUSED BY EXPOSURE IN THE EVT OF FIRE Do not brea combustion products Advice for firefighters. GERAL INFORMATION Use jets of water to cool containers to prevent product decomposition development of substances potentially hazardous for health. Always wear full fire prevention gear. Collect extinguishing water to prevent it from draining into sewer system. Dispose of contaminated water used for extinction remains of fire according to applicable regulations. SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMT FOR FIREFIGHTERS Normal fire fighting clothing i.e. fire kit (BS 469), gloves (BS 659) boots (HO specification A29 A30) in combination with selfcontained open circuit positive pressure compressed air breathing apparatus (BS 137).
3 Page n. 3 / 7 SECTION 6. Accidental release measures Personal precautions, protective equipment emergency procedures. Block leakage if re is no hazard. Wear suitable protective equipment (including personal protective equipment referred to under Section 8 of safety data sheet) to prevent any contamination of skin, eyes personal clothing. These indications apply for both processing staff those involved in emergency procedures Environmental precautions. The product must not penetrate into sewer system or come into contact with surface water or ground water Methods material for containment cleaning up. Collect leaked product into a suitable container. Evaluate compatibility of container to be used, by checking section 10. Absorb remainder with inert absorbent material. Make sure leakage site is well aired. Check incompatibility for container material in section 7. Contaminated material should be disposed of in compliance with provisions set forth in point Reference to or sections. Any information on personal protection disposal is given in sections SECTION 7. Hling storage Precautions for safe hling. Before hling product, consult all or sections of this material safety data sheet. Avoid leakage of product into environment. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Remove any contaminated clos personal protective equipment before entering places in which people eat Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities. Store only in original container. Store containers sealed, in a well ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. Keep containers away from any incompatible materials, see section 10 for details Specific end use(s). SECTION 8. Exposure controls/personal protection Control parameters Exposure controls. As use of adequate technical equipment must always take priority over personal protective equipment, make sure that workplace is well aired through effective local aspiration. Personal protective equipment must be CE marked, showing that it complies with applicable stards. HAND PROTECTION Protect hs with category III work gloves (see stard 374). The following should be considered when choosing work glove material: compatibility, degradation, failure time permeability. The work gloves' resistance to chemical agents should be checked before use, as it can be unpredictable. The gloves' wear time depends on duration type of use. SKIN PROTECTION Wear category I professional longsleeved overalls safety footwear (see Directive 89/686/EEC stard ISO 20344). Wash body with soap water after removing protective clothing. EYE PROTECTION Wear airtight protective goggles (see stard 166). RESPIRATORY PROTECTION If threshold value (e.g. TLVTWA) is exceeded for substance or one of substances present in product, use a mask with a type B filter whose class (1, 2 or 3) must be chosen according to limit of use concentration. (see stard 14387). In presence of gases or vapours of various kinds /or gases or vapours containing particulate (aerosol sprays, fumes, mists, etc.) combined filters are required. Respiratory protection devices must be used if technical measures adopted are not suitable for restricting worker's exposure to threshold values considered. The protection provided by masks is in any case limited. If substance considered is odourless or its olfactory threshold is higher than corresponding TLVTWA in case of an emergency, wear opencircuit compressed air breathing apparatus (in compliance with stard 137) or external airintake breathing apparatus (in compliance with stard 138). For a correct choice of respiratory protection device, see stard 529. VIRONMTAL EXPOSURE CONTROLS. The emissions generated by manufacturing processes, including those generated by ventilation equipment, should be checked to ensure compliance with environmental stards.

Toxicological information Information on toxicological effects. In absence of experimental data for product itself, health hazards are evaluated according to properties of substances it contains, using criteria specified in applicable regulation for classification. It is refore necessary to take into account concentration of individual hazardous substances indicated in section 3, to evaluate toxicological effects of exposure to product. The introduction of even small quantities of this liquid into respiratory system in case of ingestion or vomit may cause bronchopneumonia pulmonary edema. This product may have a degreasing action on skin, producing dryness chapped skin after repeated exposure.
