My winners generally had the more positive rear movement, were slightly better in head and generally had a little more coat and feathering. On the whole the entry looked fit for their function as a specific gundog. I was particularly pleased with both line ups of unbeaten dogs and appreciated the help of my two excellent stewards. Veteran Dog (5,1) 1 st : Barry s Rustash Red Hot Rhumba. Well balanced all through. Good ribcage and hindquarters. In good coat and conditions. Moved well. 2 nd : Walker s Sh Ch/Ir Sh Ch Vanders Va Voom avec Wroxham. Well balanced all through. Sound and free striding on the move. 3 rd : Lipscombe s Sh Ch Kellizot River Legend. Puppy Dog (3) 1 st : Cuddy s Taxus Golden Prince in Balbriggan. Has all the essentials. Currently at that legs and wings stage. Well shaped head and eye. Good through shoulder, ribcage and hindquarters. In good coat and condition. Once settled he moved well and positively. BP 2 nd : Wade s Roanjora Teroldego. Not quite the finish of the winner. Has the basic framework. Very outgoing in his attitude. Moved soundly. 3 rd : Ward s Courtdown On In A Million. Junior Dog (2) 1 st : Birch and West s Corranroo Camero at Hitides. Well shaped head. Good neck and shoulders. Correct ribcage and topline. Strong hindquarters. Free mover. 2 nd : Courtdown One In A Million. 3 rd in Puppy. Correct type who moved soundly. Yearling Dog (6,1) 1 st : Barney & Howatson s Sh Ch Killary s Grand Venture with Vanders and Romaunt JW (Imp USA). Very well balanced young dog who presents a good outline. Very sound free mover. Not the finish of the CC winner but when he matures he will really take the eye. RCC 2 nd : Barrett s Rustasha Golden Riviera. Good head and eye. Correct forequarters. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Moved well. 3 rd : Owen s Anisbrig Tamdhu. Post Grad Dog (10,1) 1 st : Lorenzi s Vistador Bohemian. Strong well balanced, stylish dog. Deep chest with well sprung ribcage and correct elbow placement. Strong hindquarters with correct bone and feet. In good coat and condition. Long free striding movement. 2 nd : Bayne s Corranroo Casper. Well balanced with correct ribcage and hindquarters. Steady mover. 3 rd : Barrett s Rustasha Golden Riviera. Limit Dog (5)

Correct topline and hindquarters. Free flowing mover. Coat of correct texture. 2 nd : Wade s Caispern Roddy Owen at Oldestone. Well balanced, strong powerful dog. Correct outline. Good ribcage and hindquarters. Not quite as settled in movements as the winner. 3 rd : Barry s Rustasha Golden Rapper JW. Open Dog (9,2) 1 st : Lamb s Sh Ch/Ir Sh Ch Casafelice Montadale JW. Well balanced with correct breed outline. Powerful yet athletic. Good head and eye. Muscular neck. Well laid back shoulder. Correct forequarters with deep chest and well sprung ribcage. Muscular back and hindquarters. Well bent stifles. Short from hock to heel. Long free striding movement with good drive. In excellent coat and condition. DCC 2 nd : Barry s Rustasha Rhapsody in Red. Another dog showing correct balance and power. Good head shape. Deep chest. Correct ribcage and strong hindquarters. Free sound mover. 3 rd : Griffin s Sh Ch Casafelice Cheviot. Working Gundog Dog (3,1) 1 st : Lorenzi s Spyefire May Spring Rainbow. Well balanced with good forequarters. Correct ribcage. Effortless mover long free striding and strong rear drive. 2 nd : Pawlowski s Boreas Artegerd. Good type and well balanced. Never really settled on the move. Good Citizen Dog (2,1) 1 st : McDonald s Roanjora Pinotage ShCM. Lovely typical dog who moved so well. Shown in excellent coat and condition. Veteran Bitch (8,2) 1 st : Barry s Shireoak Caramel Ice with Rustasha (Imp CAN). 7 years old. Feminine and well balanced. Good head and expression. Deep chest with correct spring of rib. Strong hindquarters. Free flowing movement with good rear drive. RCC 2 nd : Barton s Taniswood Summer Rose with Bencorragh. Correct type athletic yet powerful. Strong topline and hindquarters. Free sound movement. 3 rd : Barry s Shireoak Hurricane Ruby Rustasha (Imp CAN). Puppy Bitch (1) 1 st : McDonald s Roanjora Montepulciano. Alone but well worthy of her win. Just right for her age. Well balanced with correct amount of bone. Sound free mover. Junior Bitch (2) 1 st : Callaghan s Corranroo Coco. Feminine well balanced youngster. Scored on maturity over 2 nd. Good forequarters, correct ribcage and well made hindquarters. Sound free mover. 2 nd : Roanjora Montepulciano. Yearling Bitch (3) 1 st : Pilmer s Anisbrig Kilkerran. Two litter sisters head this class. The winner had more finish overall. Well balanced with good head and expression. Deep chest, correct ribcage and well made hindquarters. True flowing movement. 2 nd : Mallinson s Anisbrig Ailsa Bay. Will change places with her sister once she gets it all together. Well balanced and in good coat and condition. Not quite the rear drive. 3 rd : Pace-O Shea s Simbic s Fianna. Post Graduate Bitch (12,1) 1 st : O Connor s Caispern Looks Like Trouble. Lovely feminine, well balanced bitch with good head and expression. Deep chest, good spring of rib, strong hindquarters. Sound free mover. 2 nd : Peacock s Spiralwood Sweetheart. True head and expression. Good front, bone and feet. Correct profile movement which showed off her correct outline. In good coat and condition. 3 rd : McDonald s Roanjora Tsarine Tzarina

5 Limit Bitch (9,2) 1 st : Barcroft s Ballakinnish Muse. Headed a strong class. Quality typical bitch strong and powerful. Feminine, true head shape with good eye and expression. Good outline. Deep chest. Correct spring of rib and strong hindquarters. Short hock to heel. Free flowing, sound movement. In lovely coat and condition. 2 nd : Tong s Rustasha Raison d Etre for Kellizlot. Another quality bitch with all the breed essentials. Good head, forequarters and ribcage. Moved soundly and well. Not quite the feathering of winner but this will come. 3 rd : Wade s Spiralwood Spring Time. Open Bitch (7,2) 1 st : Tattersall s Sh Ch Alanea Summer Cottage. So much to like about this bitch. Copybook head and expression. Lovely coat and colour in top condition. Correct outline. Strong bone and forequarters. Good spring of rib. Well made hindquarters. Correct topline both standing and on the move with good tail carriage. Movement effortless and free striding with strong rear drive. BCC/BOB 2 nd : Ward s Sh Ch Ballakinnish Mischief Making. Close up with all the breed essentials that makes for a quality Show Champion. Well balanced. In excellent coat and condition. Sound free mover. 3 rd : Humphries Sh Ch Spyefire Seven Steps JW. Working Gundog Bitch (1) 1 st : Sherratt s Ch Charborough Glamour Girl. Lovely to see this typical sound well balanced bitch is a full champion. Shown in good coat and condition.
