Hotel accommodations may be found at the Kimball Terrace Inn in Northeast Harbor at or the Harborside Hotel in Bar Harbor at Land/Air transportation to Regatta Registration is the competitor s responsibility. The North American Invitational is subject to the following terms: As a condition of the participation of any boat in any race or related activity sponsored or undertaken by the Northeast Harbor International One Design Class Organizing Authority and the Northeast Harbor Fleet as Host, the owner, helmsman and each crew member agree that the safety of the boat and her crew and the decision whether or not to start or continue to race is solely their responsibility, and each of them waives all claims that he or she, or any heir, representative, successor or assignee, may have against the Organizing Authority and Host and its officers, trustees, members, committees, employees or agents, arising out of or in any way connected with participation in such race or activity. The Damage Deposit is to cover the deductible and is refundable only if no damage is incurred beyond normal wear. Any major damage due to contact and deemed by the Regatta jury to be the fault of the competitor will invoke the use of the damage deposit and no deposit will be refunded.
