3 1.0SCPE This Method Statement covers the routine testing of the Capacitor Banks to be supplied for in compliance with the specified tolerance and limitations outlined with IEC / EN standards, guidelines and with reference to project specifications, Dorman Smith test criteria / instructions and requirements of BSEN and Utility requirements 2.0PURPSE This procedure provides the methodology that will be used for routine testing of the LV Main power distribution boards / Sub-main distribution boards / Motor Control Centres as per the project specifications, manufacturer recommendations, relevant standards, and approved drawings. 5 5.0TESTING METHDLGY 5.1General Requirements Ensure that all equipment and materials are as per approved shop drawing prior to the commencement of any testing All materials and documentation relevant to this testing works shall be checked by the responsible personnel prior to the commencement of testing activities Before any item of equipment is accepted for testing a visual inspection will be carried out on that equipment.
