2 25 YEARS B P M L I G H T I N G Since it opened its doors in 1992 with 5 workers, the lighting company BPM Lighting is celebrating its 25th anniversary with 62 workers at their main facilities located in Dénia, more than 30 sales representatives distributed all over the national territory, as well as a regulatory warehouse in Polonia with 18 workers and commercial offices in France, Germany and England; in total, a human team with more than 100 workers which lead BPM Lighting to export to 41 countries. The continued success of this family business, has been marked by the globalization of its view, and also by its efforts in innovation, design and its professionalism, which have played a fundamental role in its development. Since Bernardo Palomares started his business, the company has moved from manufacture and commercialization of decorative crystal spotlights, to a product range of more than 250 luminaires divided in two collections: Structural, specialized in fully integrated luminaires; and Engineering, profile product range in different finishes, installations and sizes as well as other technical lighting. At the present time, BPM Lighting is betting on I+D+i responsible investments in new LED technologies with the purpose of implanting these more efficient and ecological systems of lighting, as the unique option in their luminaires. 3 25 AÑOS B P M L I G H T I N G Desde que en el año 1992 abriera sus puertas con 5 trabajadores, la empresa de iluminación BPM Lighting celebra su 25 aniversario con 62 trabajadores en sus instalaciones principales en Dénia, más de 30 comerciales repartidos por el territorio nacional, así como un almacén regulador en Polonia con 18 trabajadores y oficinas comerciales en Francia, Alemania e Inglaterra; sumando un equipo humano de más de un centenar de personas que le llevan a exportar a 41 países. El continuado éxito de esta empresa familiar, ha estado marcado por la globalización de su visión y por la canalización de sus esfuerzos en la innovación, el diseño y la profesionalidad, los cuales han desempeñado un papel fundamental en su crecimiento. Desde que Bernardo Palomares pusiera en marcha su negocio, han pasado de la fabricación y comercialización de focos de cristal decorativos, a tener una cartera de más de 250 productos divididos en dos líneas: Structural, especializada en luminarias completamente integrables en techo o pared, Engineering, gama de productos de perfilería en diferentes acabados, instalaciones y tamaños así como otra iluminación técnica. Actualmente BPM Lighting está apostando por inversiones responsables en I+D+i en nuevas tecnologías LED con el propósito de implantar estos sistemas de alumbrado más eficientes y ecológicos como única opción en todas sus luminarias. 90 GENERAL INFORMATION INFORMACIÓN GENERAL LUMEN / LUMEN: The lumen (lm) is the unit to measure the luminous flux, and this value means the total luminous output of a lamp that is perceived by the human eye. El lumen (lm) es la unidad de medida para medir el flujo luminoso, siendo este la medida de la potencia luminosa total que emite una lámpara y es percibida por el ojo humano. CRI / IRC: Color rendering index (CRI) is a quantitative measure that assesses the ability of a light source to faithfully reproduce the objects colors. El índice de reproducción cromática (IRC) es una medida cuantitativa que valora la capacidad que tiene una fuente de luz de reproducir fielmente los colores de los objetos. REFLECTOR / REFLECTOR: Metallic or plastic component which allows redirect the light beam improving luminarie efficiency. Depending on degree of openness, light beam amplitude is adjusted, in othe words, a lower angle of reflection there is a lower light beam amplitude, focusing light at a certain point.
