4 CLUB NIGHT discussions New timing gear computer and programe + printer is on its way. Ruakaka Street Sprint, discussing what has been organised. Due to not a lot or no rain we have to use certain areas of the soccer fields for the pits area. We can also use the grass area around the Ruakaka tavern. We ll need someone else on start line as Grant is the Clerk of the Course so he can not do it. Hartnell Road, 21 st April is the HCMC hillclimb challenge. Motorsport NZ AGM, 25 th May 2013, Steve Hart will be going down to this. Clubvan, Paul Rodgers has been looking around and came in with an option, come along to next club night if you would like to help. JURISDICTION This event is held under the National Sporting Code of Motorsport New Zealand and any relevant regulations, prescriptions or specifications thereto. This is a clubsport event and open to members of MNZ affiliated clubs. 2. The course will include 3km of touring on public roads back to the start. The 14 th of April is the scheduled rain day. 4 ENTRIES Will open with the publication of these supplementary regulations and close on Tuesday 2 th April. No entries will be accepted on the day. The organisers reserve the right to refuse or decline any entry in accordance with the prescribed provisions of the National Sporting Code. Entry fee will be $ per driver Entries will be limited to Eighty (80) Duel driver cars will be accepted but must adhere to Clerk of Course instructions at drivers briefing. Cheques made payable to Northland Car Club Inc. Entry fee must accompany all entries and be forwarded to : STREET SPRINT ENTRY 2B Neil Street, Regent, WHANGAREI DOCUMENTATION AND SCRUTINEERING Sunday morning at Ruakaka Tavern cnr Marsden Point and Sime Rds between 8.00am and 9.00am, please indicate on your entry whether your vehicle requires a full audit.

17 6 EVENT PROGRAMME A) Drivers briefing at 9.30am at start line on Sime Rd. B) Familiarisation run at 9.45am. All competitors must travel the course under the supervision of the Clerk of Course. 7 COMPETITORS REQUIREMENTS In signing the entry form, competitors are deemed to fully understand the relevant articles and regulations as contained in the current issue of the Motorsport Manual. A clubsport or higher grade licence is required. It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure that all passengers sign the indemnity form prior to participation, co drivers are briefed on safety procedures in the car eg. fastening and unfastening of safety belts, location and use of zetka, display of SOS / OK sign. Report all property damage to event HQ. Northland Car Club will arrange repair and invoice relevant competitor, Hitting and damaging a hay bale will cost you $ ELIGIBLE VEHICLES All vehicles will conform with safety schedule contained in Appendix Two. Vehicles will be divided into the following classes: A cc B cc C cc D E All 4WD F Racing and sports cars 9 GENERAL a) Service vehicles must park in the service area b) No dogs or alcohol permitted at the venue. c) Everyone to collect and dispose of their rubbish before leaving the venue. d) All competition numbers to be removed from vehicles after the event. e) Normal road rules apply on touring section and Police have been informed of the event. f) You must report any speeding or driving fines during the event. g) Cars will start each run in numerical order. h) Tyres racing slicks are not allowed, road, rally or targa tyres ok. i) Any disabled vehicles on the course may be moved at the discretion of the Clerk of Course. j) A minimum of 50 cm ground clearance is required. 10 RESULTS AND PRIZEGIVING Times will be posted after each run. Prize giving will be held at the Ruakaka Tavern at approx 5.30pm. Prizes will be allocated at the discretion of the organisers 11 FOOD Will be available during the event and at prize giving. 12 CANCELLATION Broadcast on More FM Northland A rain day on the 14 th of April is available if required. NORTHLAND CAR CLUB ENTRANTS You are required to put the name and phone number of a designated helper on the top right hand corner of the entry form, failure to do so will result in your entry being returned. Your helper must be at the start line at 9am.Your help will also be required on Sunday morning and evening to help setup and cleanup.
