4 Scoring/Penalties. Scoring/Penalties. Each Sub-Event of the Event will be scored individually. Points will be awarded in order of finishing from highest to lowest as follows: 1st = 100 points, 2nd = 99 points, 3rd = 98 points, 4th = 97 points etc and so on down to 30th = 70 points. In the event of Tied Places, the average of the scores for those places will be awarded to each Crew. Thus, if three crews tied for second place, add = 294 divided by 3 = 98 points per crew. Penalties for Sub-Events: (as applicable)... Hit Cone Missed Gate Did Not Complete Full Course Did Not Finish Did Not Start Jump Start = + 5 Seconds per Cone = + 20 Seconds = + 60 Seconds = Slowest Time + 20 Seconds = No Score - Nil points. = + 20 Seconds Penalties for Transport Sections: Exceeding Speed Limits Excessive Speed Lost Road Card Late Time Deduction = Penalty up to exclusion from the Event plus a monetary fine. = Exclusion from the Event. = 100 Point penalty per offence = 10 Point Penalty per 10 minutes or part there of. Navigation Points and Penalties: Points for each Navigation Section will be totaled and added to your score Navigation Points and Penalties: Points for each Navigation and Observation Section will be totaled and added to your score. Points Earned: Penalty Points: Information + 4 Wrong Direction at Passage Control - 4 Information with Stamp + 6 Failure to Observe Road Laws - 10 Passage Control + 8 Each Minute Late - 1 Dummy Information + 2*** *** If both Correct Information and Dummy Information are entered on the Road Card, only Dummy Information points (2) apply to score. Max Late Time, up to 15 mins 15 points. Navigation Section completed after Finish Control has Closed 30 points. Lost Route Card - No Points for Sub-Event. Protests. Competitors are encouraged to make any query during the Event, in writing, (forms will be provided), with the Event Director. Should a query not be resolved to the Competitors satisfaction, a Protest regarding the Event may be made and must be lodged with the Event Director within two (2) Hours of the Final results being posted. 4

The Maps will then be the responsibility of the Crew for the duration of the Event. There are no replacements. Navigation Route Instructions for 1 / 05, TAFE - Shepparton will be available at the TLC Briefing. First car due out at 13:00 (unless otherwise advised). 2 minute intervals.
