1 Waretown Thunder Softball Club 2013 Fall Ball Program The Waretown Thunder Softball Club is now accepting registrations for the upcoming 2013 Fall Ball Season. Fall Ball is an important part of our program as we will offer a variety of clinics and game competitions for most age levels. Games will be played on Sundays for players eligible in the 10U/12U/16U levels for the 2014 season. We will host pitching, catching, hitting and skills clinics for 8U/10U/12U/16U level players. Clinics will be Sunday evenings at our fields in Waretown. Clinics are offered on a first come first serve basis as we have player limits per clinic. Cost for the Fall Ball Game Competition is $55 per player ($70 Late Registration after 8/31/13). Cost for our Clinics are $40 per player, per clinic ($50 Late Registration after 8/31/13) and includes all scheduled dates. Waretown Thunder Softball Club Fall Ball is open to all players residing in Ocean County. Quick Registration is available online through our web site starting 8/1/13 Late Registration Wednesday September 4th 6:00pm 8:00pm at Field 2 in Waretown. Registration fees: Fall Ball: $70. Clinics $50 per clinic. *No registrations will be accepted after our final late registration date of 9/4/13 Fall Ball 10U/12U/16U Games Fall Ball Game Fee is $55 ($70 Late Registration) and includes uniform t-shirt Games for Fall Ball are played on weekends. Games begin the first or second week in September and conclude on the last week of October or first week of November. Fall Ball is an 8 week mini-season for players who will participate in 2014 as league age 8 through 16. Games times can be as early as 9:00am and as late as 5:00pm. Teams typically play one game per day however, there is the possibility of doubleheaders. Location of Games: All games for Fall ball can be played in Waretown or surrounding towns. Fields for specific games will be noted on the master schedule when it is released prior to the seasons start. Directions to fields are available on our web site. Pitching clinic participants are determined on a first come first serve basis. Pitching clinics begin on Sunday September 8 th and run for 8 consecutive weeks. Clinics are outdoors so it is possible that the dates may be extended if postponed due to weather. From the beginner to the experienced fast pitch pitcher, the clinics will address all levels and feature experienced fast pitch instructors. Fall Catching Clinics Fall Catching Clinic Fee is $40 ($50 Late Registration) and includes a t-shirt Catching clinics are on Sunday evenings (same time as the pitching clinics) from 5:00pm 6:00pm at Field 1 in Waretown. Catching clinic participants are determined on a first come first serve basis. Catching clinics begin on Sunday September 8 th and run for 8 consecutive weeks. Clinics are outdoors so it is possible that the dates may be extended if postponed due to weather. From the beginner to the experienced fast pitch catcher, the clinics will address all levels and feature experienced fast pitch catching instructors. Fall Skills/Hitting Clinics Fall Skills Clinic Fee is $40 ($50 Late Registration) and includes a t-shirt Skills/Hitting clinics are on Sunday evenings from 6:00pm 7:00pm at Field 1 in Waretown. Skills/Hitting clinic participants are determined on a first come first serve basis. Skills/Hitting clinics begin on Sunday September 8 th and run for 8 consecutive weeks. Clinics are outdoors so it is possible that the dates may be extended if postponed due to weather. From the beginner to the experienced fast pitch player, the clinics will address hitting and fielding skills and feature experienced fast pitch instructors.
