LEFTY LOOSEY Yesterday 1B Logan Morrison (solo in 2nd) and CF Kevin Kiermaier (2-run in 5th) became the first and second left-handed hitters to homer off LH Chris Sale this season it was only the third time Sale yielded 2 HR to left-handed hitters in his career prev. July 8, 2016 vs. ATL (Freddie Freeman, Nick Markakis) and June 10, 2016 vs. KC (Eric Hosmer twice) prior to yesterday, Sale had yielded only 8 HR to lefties in his career to five different players: Hosmer (3), DET Brennan Boesch (2), Freeman, Markakis and CLE Travis Hafner. Morrison s blast was his first HR off a LHP since May 25, 2016 vs. MIA (Justin Nicolino) hit 20 HR vs. RHP in between since the start of 2015, it was only the 2nd of his 41 HR to come off a LHP.
