In his first game back in Chicago, tied his career high with 5 made FGs [5-5 at Arz. (10/1/17)], including the 24-yd. game-winning FG with 0:04 left in the game at Chi. (12/3). He became the first player to make 5 FGs at Soldier Field since 12/28/12 (Car. K Justin Medlock 5 for 5). Connected on each of his 4 FGAs (52, 35, 25 & 41 yds.) at Hou. (12/10). GOLDMINE NFL players once again had the chance to share the causes that are important to them during all Week 13 games, as part of the NFL s My Cause, My Cleats campaign. The initiative was a culmination of collaborative work between the NFL and players across the league. Supporting the Lurie Children s Hospital allows me to help children and families going through difficult times, said Gould. My message to those battling illness: Tackles your fears and fulfill your dreams! GOLDMINE (CONTINUED) Founded The Goulden Touch Foundation in 2011, which has partnered with several key organizations in education, social services, health and wellness, and medical research to help those in need. Annually, The Golden Touch hosts the Windy City Kicker Golf Classic in Gould s hometown area of Clinton County, PA and has raised over $285,000 for Clinton County area programs. In 2016, Gould hosted a Celebrity Golf Invitational, which raised over $940,000 for The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children s Hospital of Chicago. Following 11 seasons with the Chicago Bears, Gould formed a special bond with the city of Chicago. Despite being removed from the city for more than a year, the Chicago Cubs invited him to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and sing the seventh inning stretch in July of In 2012, The Goulden Touch launched its annual event, Kicking Hunger, which provides meals and raises funds for the Northern Illinois Food Bank. To date, The Goulden Touch has raised over 36,000 meals for their backpack program. As part of the 49ers annual Thanksgiving celebrations, Gould and his teammates visted Cityteam San Jose to serve a holiday feast to over 300 people in need. Guests enjoyed turking along with all of the usual holiday sides, while getting to know the 49ers.
