They are the only professional sports team in Will County, which is the fastest growing collar county in the suburban Chicago area. In addition to great baseball, the Slammers pride themselves on providing affordable, family fun. From baseball at all levels, to concerts, 5K walks and runs, beer festivals and more there is always something going on that appeals to all demographics. COMING SPRING 2018 The installation of artificial turf at the Slammers Stadium will be completed in Spring of With the addition of turf, the Slammers are now able to host a variety of NEW events, including more travel baseball tournaments, soccer, and even potential concerts.
