2 Information for Parents Johnsonville School Triathlon is a fun have a go event for all children in the area. The focus is on fun, having a go and trying your best. Registration Registration Fee is only $10 per child, up to a maximum of $20 per family. Entry forms and Payment must be handed in to the school office by 12 noon on Thursday 1st November or ed to johnsonvilletri@gmail.com. Internet, cash or cheques made payable to Home and School Association. Entries are limited so register today. Timeline for the day: Registration opens at 12:30pm Event briefing 1:00pm First wave 1:15pm Each year will be set off in separate waves at approx. 10 min intervals. On the Day Kids: wear your sneakers and togs with a t shirt and shorts on top. Don t forget to bring: Your bike, bike helmet, goggles, towel, water bottle and sunscreen. You must collect your race number from the registration desk in the hall from 12:30 Go to a waiting area with your bike ready to start. Bike around the field as per the course suited for your age group. Drop your bike off in the transition area. (pick up swim goggles) Run to your course lap, then remove sneakers & t- shirts, leave these in a marked area by the pool entrance, swim in the school pool, then run to the finish line in the playground. Spot Prizes will be awarded at prize giving following the event. Postponement Date If it is not safe to run the event due to weather the event will be postponed to 17th November 2018

4 Juniors Course Bike 1 laps of the grass course on the bottom field Leave your bike in transition Run Exit through the gate and turn right onto Morgan Street Turn right onto Ironside Road Turn right again onto the path which runs behind the playcentre At the top of the path turn left and run past rooms 3 and 4. Cross the playground to the pool Swim Take off your running shoes and clothes and leave outside the pool. These can be collected later Swim 3 lengths of the pool Exit the pool and run down the ramp to the finish line

5 Middles Course Bike 3 laps of the grass course on the bottom field. Leave your bike in transition. Run Exit through the gate and turn right onto Morgan Street Turn right onto Ironside Road Turn right again run up the zig zag to Ohariu Road, at the top turn right and run down the hill. Make a final right turn down the driveway opposite Braemar Terrace towards the pool. Swim Take off your running shoes and clothes and leave outside the pool. These can be collected later Swim 5 lengths of the pool Exit the pool and run down the ramp to the finish line

6 Seniors Course Bike 4 laps of the grass course on the bottom field Leave your bike in transition Run Exit through the gate and turn right onto Morgan Street Turn right onto Ironside Road. Turn right again run up the zig zag to Ohariu Road, at the top turn right and run down the hill. Turn right back onto Morgan Street Turn right at the school gate at the After-School club room. Follow the path up to the bottom playground and keeping to the left run up to the top playground. Run round the top playground and toward the pool First Round Second Round Swim Swim 11 lengths in total. You will exit after 6 lengths and complete another 5 finishing at the opposite end Exit the pool and run down the ramp to the finish line.
