6 LEISURE AND TOURISM - OBJECTIVES Reduction of the environmental impacts, especially CO 2 -emissions caused by transport during leisure and holiday activities Creation of attractive environmental-friendly offers for guests for the journey to and within the destination Motivation of using public and alternative means of transportations Shifting of leisure and tourism trips to less climate harmful ways of transport Target groups Tourism regions, tourism businesses, transport providers, event organisers 6
7 CONSULTING FOR CLIMATE FRIENDLY MOBILITY The relevant transport actors are motivated and supported to develop and implement environmentally friendly mobility management by five tailor made programs: Mobility Management for cities, municipalities and regions Mobility Management for companies, fleet operators and real estate developers Mobility Management for leisure, tourism and youth Mobility Management for children, parents and schools Eco-Driving Initiative for fleet operators 7
8 CONSULTING SERVICES Contact for exchanging experiences and to get to know good practise examples Support with various information material Suggestion of possible activities and measures Personal consultation on-site for the planning and the implementation of innovative mobility measures Information about relevant subsidies in the frame of klimaaktiv mobil Support in the application procedure 8
9 ACTIVITIES AND MEASURES FIELDS Attractive offers to travel to the destination all-inclusive packages incl. luggage transport and convenient connections, co-ordination of the last-mile etc. Innovative offers of soft mobility within the region optimum conditions for pedestrians, hikers, bikers and public transport, environmental-friendly ways of transportation etc. Attractive system easy to access information, packages, tickets, connections etc. Awareness raising activities trainees and seminars of the employees, public awareness activities and marketing etc. 9

14 KLIMAAKTIV MOBIL - FUNDING STANDARD FUNDING RATE for integrated mobility concepts (incl. demand-oriented transport systems, cycling infrastructure, carsharing, awareness raising) 20% of the net costs for mobility measures Bonuses max. 10% +5% for the combination of measures +5% for additional awareness raising measures +5% for the integration of further businesses or regional authorities Evidence of CO 2 -reduction is obligatory!
