1 WIGMORE CYCLING CLUB Promote for and on behalf of Cycling Time Trials Under their Rules and Regulations THEIR 35th ANNUAL OPEN HILL CLIMB INCORPORATING THE KENT CYCLING ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE HELD ON SUNDAY 3rd OCTOBER 2010 AT AM COURSE QHC/11 HOLLINGBOURNE It is now compulsory that all riders under the age of 18 must wear protective head gear that complies with recognised standards. IN THE INTEREST OF YOUR OWN SAFETY Cycling Time Trials and the event promoters strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET that meets with an internationally accepted safety standard.

COURSE DETAILS. (QHC/11) Hollingbourne Hill. START. at prominent stone in wall approx 15 yards North of Pilgrims Way on the B2163. FINISH. At Fire hydrant post by entrance to Smith s Granary Farm approx: 100 yards before x roads. DISTANCE is approx: 1350 yds at an average gradient of 1 in 8. THE COURSE is approx: 4 miles east of Maidstone and is reached from junction 8 off the M20. TIME KEEPERS: Dave Abbotts Gravesend Cycling Club and Ernest Mackey Medway Velo Club. RECORDER: Martin Trice Wigmore Cycling Club PARKING: Is again by kind permission of Simon Hill of Smith s Granary Farm who extends us a warm welcome. This will be in the field adjacent to the Farm House and will also be the HQ area. Do not abuse this privilege. NO PARKING in vicinity of Start or Finish. THERE ARE NO TOILET FACILITIES. COMPETITORS MUST NOT use the hill for warming up once the event is in progress. PLEASE OBEY INSTRUCTIONS given by event marshals at the start area. PLEASE BE AWARE that on leaving the HQ area there may be competitor on the course. BODY NUMBERS: Will be at the HQ Area until about 15 minutes before event commences. Allow yourself time to sign on. Numbers and signing on sheet will then be moved to just below the start..your number may be exchanged for a drink. PLEASE AVOID A LATE START As it complicates matters for the timekeepers and may delay the presentation. TURBOS/ROLLERS. There are no restrictions for this event.
