1 ACKWOWLEDGEMENTS This report was prepared by the Roanoke Valley-Alleghany Regional Commission (RVARC), which is the lead staff agency for the Roanoke Valley Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (VDRPT), and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The contents of this report reflect the views of the staff of the Roanoke Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). The MPO staff is responsible for the facts and accuracy of the data presented herein. The contents do not necessarily reflect the official views or policies of the FHWA, FTA, VDRPT, VDOT, or RVARC.
