16 Improvements Development and Evaluation Developed 3 interchange improvement concepts Each concept included an alternative solution for improving bicycle and pedestrian mobility Evaluated potential right-of-way needs to widen Page Mill to 6 lanes from I-280 to Foothill Expressway Evaluated 3 Foothill Expressway grade separation concepts Evaluation Tools Developed a micro-simulation to evaluate each improvement for existing and year 2025 conditions Performed a level of service analysis for with and without improvements scenarios
17 Interchange Improvement Concepts Concept 1 - Signalization Concept 2 Southbound Ramp Realignment Concept 3 Roundabout 3 options were evaluated, each with different approaches to intersection control, ramp configuration and bike/pedestrian facilities. Improvements were evaluated for effectiveness in traffic, bicycle, and pedestrian circulation.
18 Foothill Expressway Grade Separation Alt 1 Page Mill Over Alt 3 Page Mill Split Alt 2 Page Mill Under 3 options were evaluated. In all options Page Mill Road through traffic would be grade separated from Foothill Expressway and turning movement traffic. Atgrade intersections would maintain all existing turning movements.

Convert Hanover Street to one-through lane in each direction and add bike lanes. Page Mill Road & El Camino Real Intersection: Extend turn pockets, re-align curbs and median, and provide westbound right-turn lane
