2 Hello all, and thanks for entering the Midland Time Trial Championships this year. In this pack is all the information you need about the event for first time riders as well as seasoned testers! To be eligible for the prestigious Midland Champion jerseys and awards you must ride for a Midland registered club, but there will be overall prizes as well. We re pleased to also incorporate the Midland Womens TT Series. Prize giving will take place as soon as possible after the riders have finished out on course. IN THE INTEREST OF YOUR OWN SAFETY, CYCLING TIME TRIALS AND THE EVENT PROMOTERS STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU WEAR A HARD SHELL HELMET THAT MEETS AN INTERNATIONALLY ACCEPTED SAFETY STANDARD. ALL UNDER 18 AND JUNIOR RIDERS MUST WEAR SUCH A HELMET. It is recommended that a working rear light, either flashing or constant, be fitted in a visible position to the rear of the bike and be functioning throughout the event.

4 Course description K41/10 0 miles Start in Cloudesley Bush Lane (signposted A427 Lutterworth) southeast of Wolvey Island (Axe & Compass) at second last catseye on first layby on left. Proceed southeast 5.2 miles At island at junction with A5/A427 (Cross in Hand) Encircle island; taking Course map Remember the onus is on the competitor to know the course there are marshals but make sure you take the right exit at the turn! FINISH START FIFTH exit; to retrace TURN 10 miles Finish at road drain on left just west of tree about 330 yards before driveway to Wolvey Heath farm TURN NO NO NO NO

No aerobars, clip on aerobars or aero extensions can be used 2. Hands must be holding the handlebars at all times whilst racing (ie. not with forearms resting on the handlebar) 3. Legs must only be covered to mid calf 4. Wheels may have no more than 90mm depth and must have at least 12 spokes 5. Helmets must have no visor 6. Ears must not be covered by the helmet In addition, the use of a Giro Aerohead helmet will not be permitted.
