Coaches: One (1) coach for every five (5) competitors has free admission with a maximum of four (4) coaches per team. All coaches have to wear tracksuits. Procedure: K.O. System Group A: Qualification rounds: 2 x 1,5, finales 3 x 1,5 min; Group B: Qualification / finales 2 x 1,5 min The WTF competition rules will be applied with one exemption: If a point gap of 12 points occurs in the last round, the fight ends and the who is leading is declared winner of the fight. If at the beginning of the last round there is already a point gap of 12 points or more, the last round does not start. The first round / first two rounds in case of finals of Group A are finished in any case. Thanks to this rule, no will lose with a high deficit of points. This is favourable, because ren who experience a huge deficit often not only lose the fight but also their delight in taekwondo. The same is true for the parents. We do not want to see crying ren and disappointed parents, but happy families therefore a fight ends with a 12 point gap in the last round.

For the online registration at tubw.de there will be two tournaments, one for Saturday, one for Sunday. Please choose your preferred day when registering. Scoring According to WTF rules. 5 22st International Children s Championship 2017 This is the outline for the family competitions. We are happy to present these exciting competition formats for ren and parents. Join our special taekwondo event for the whole family. Every participant will receive a beautiful medal to keep the event in good memory! Family KYORUGI Participants: Children, who are coached by their mother or father Modus: A fight consists of 1 round of 2 minutes length. If a fighter reaches 5 points or if there is a point gap of 3 points during these 2 minutes, the fighter who leads is the winner the fight ends early. If after 2 minutes the fight ends 1:1 or 2:2, the fighter who made the first point ist he winner. If the fight ends 0:0, there will be am extra time, until one golden point is made. The fighters will fight in groups of four players, in every pool are two players. There are several groups per weight and age category! 6 22 nd International Children s Championship 2017 Family POOMSAE Participants: Children who start with mother, father or both. Modus: All Participants do Taeguk Il Jang (Poomsae 1). Entitled to participate are: Child + Mother, Child + Father, all of them wearing Doboks! Competition Classes: LK 1: Child and/of mother/father have 5 th Keup or higher. Technique will count 70 %, presentation/harmony between ren and parents 30 % LK 1: Child and/of mother/father have 6 th Keup or lower. Technique will count 30 %, presentation/harmony between ren and parents 70 % Four teams will start in a group, among which the first, second and the two third places will be decided. There will be several groups and several winners per category! Categories will not be divided between Boys and Girls. An experienced referee will evaluate the teams. Age categories are determined according to the age of the ren: Pupils: 10 and younger Juniors: 11 to 13 years Juniors 1: 14 and 15 years Participants can choose the day on which they start please indicate the day on the starting card. Entry fee Family POOMSAE: 25 Please transfer the money in good time to the account given (details on page 1) Family KYOKPA Board Breaking Participants: Children do the Kyokpa father or mother are holding the board Modus: Four ren start in one group. Groups will not be separated between girls and boys. Children have their eyes blindfolded. Father or mother are in 8 metres distance and hold the boards. The ren have to find their way to the parents and break the board using dwit chagi (turning kick). Parents can guide their ren verbally. The winner is the who first manages to break the board the other ren earn place 2 to 4. Participants can choose the day on which they start please indicate the day on the starting card. The Family KYOKPA takes place on May 20 and 21, the starting time will be announced at the tournament.
