1 ,!i February 14th, 2017 Happy Valentines Last Thursday night, we celebrated with our Valentines dance. A table was filled with goodies for everyone to enjoy.

2 A great turnout of 68 people,many wearing pink and red, enjoyed the festivities. Bill Chesnut called the tips as the dancers formed squares. Bill did a great job of keeping the dancers moving and made the calls fun. On a rare occasion, when a square broke down, Bill would say, These are not calls but merely suggestions.

3 The round dancers had their opportunity to circle the floor. Soon it would be time for Co-President, Wayne Miller to make the announcements Who would hold the lucky ticket for the drawing worth $41. The winner is Reggie Dubay. Congratulations Reggie! The next drawing would be for the winner of the Free Pass. This week s winner won the drawing for the Last Tip last week, however she was not present to claim her prize. This week she was present and her ticket was drawn.

4 Congratulations Donna Myers! Yes, we have a Last Tip winner. Hazel Clark s number was drawn, #7, and she was awarded $8 in winnings. This week the drawing will be worth $5. Banner Chairpersons recognized. Mary & Chuck Giera received an award for 63 visits during the 2016 calendar year, the most in northeast Florida. On the topic of banner raids, the Seabreeze Singles and the Mandarin Marauders retrieved their banners.

6 New Sunshine Representative Faye Wright Faye s responsibilities include sending out get well cards and calling those who have not attended the dances for awhile. This Wednesday The Divas are going to Perards Italian Restaurant on Crystal Springs Rd on February 15 th at 11:30. It at the corner Crystal Springs Rd and Chaffee Rd, in the Winn Dixie shopping center. Please RSVP Marilyn Scott at scottymjane@gmail.com if you plan on attending. Great Job! 10 We extend our heart felt condolescences to the family and friends of Gene Lam who passed away on February 8 th. The funeral services for Gene will be held at 12:00 pm,saturday February 18 th at the graveside in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Jacksonville Memory Gardens,111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park. Family members will greet friends from 10:30-11:30 pm at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
