Special congrats to Justin Stange for making concert master and Fatou Kane for making principal cellist.

9 Best Buddies The next Best Buddies group meeting is on Tuesday, November 13th after school in the Flex Room. New members welcome.

10 The Varsity boys' basketball team will be playing their Jamboree here at Summit on Wednesday, starting at 6:00 in the main gym. Admission is FREE. Please come support the boys as they kick off their season.

11 Teacher Braggin Rights Game Do you want to see some of your elementary school and middle school teachers play the high school teachers in a competitive game of basketball? The annual teacher braggin' rights basketball game is this Friday. Admission is $2.00 for students and a ton of prizes will be given away. Come pack the house that night and cheer on your teachers.

12 Any Senior Athletes planning on signing Letters of Intent for College Athletics during the Fall Signing period, please see Mr. Lefkowitz in the Activities Office.

19 ATSU-Truman Healthcare Academy Interested in a Career in medicine? Students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades can apply to attend the one week ATSU- Truman Healthcare Academy this summer. 20 A Muslim Youth Leadership Symposium will be held on Saturday, November 17th from 10am to 6pm on the campus of Washington University. Any student who would like more information or would be interested in attending can pick up a flyer in the Counseling Office.

21 College Visits MO Western State University - 11/12-1:45 pm U.S. Coast Guard Academy - 11/20-9:00 am St. Louis Community College - 12/4-9:30 am College Visits are open to Juniors & Seniors - You must sign up to attend the visit through Naviance at Registration closes 2 days in advance of the visit. As a courtesy to the college reps, if you are unable to attend a visit you signed up for, please notify Mrs. Collis. Visit the College/Career Center for more information.
