We have helped our own Lodge as well as the OK/SK Moose Legion quite a bit financially and Keith and Tom have contributed greatly locally and regionally by taking on state offices.

1 HUTCHINSON MOOSE LODGE # East First Street HUTCHINSON, KANSAS (620) LEGION NEWS Just minutes ago it was January, now here we are moving into December. This year has gone by at a blazing pace, yet much has been accomplished. We have helped our own Lodge as well as the OK/SK Moose Legion quite a bit financially and Keith and Tom have contributed greatly locally and regionally by taking on state offices. We all should be proud of them and ourselves for making a difference in OK/SK and locally. Each year the Hutchinson Moose Legion hosts the Christmas Ball for all members and guests in our Lodge. This year the ball is scheduled for December 15th with Triple Play providing the dance music. We will ask for a free will dona on at the door as your entry fee and light snacks will be provided during the evening. There will also be door prizes to a few lucky cket holders so you don t want to miss the 2018 Christmas Ball. On December 28th we will be serving a chili and soup dinner with lots of go alongs which should be the perfect meal to have between Christmas and New Years. December will be full of events for all and hope to see you there. We had a fun me at our November Corn Hole Toss Tournament. With another coming up this month, the challenge is on for all young and older Moose members. I sincerely hope everyone has a great X-mas and remember that your patronage is what gives our children at Mooseheart and seniors at Moosehaven a great X-mas and we thank you very much. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP SPONSORING NEW MEMBERS AND ENCOURAGING EVERYONE TO RENEW THEIR MEMBERSHIP WHEN THEY BECOME DUE. YOUR SUPPORT OF THE MOOSE LODGE, WHETHER IT BE BY RENEWING YOUR DUES, COMING TO THE LODGE ON TUESDAYS, FRIDAYS, AND SATURDAYS, YOU ARE NOT ONLY HELPING THE LODGE, BUT YOU ARE ALSO HELPING SUPPORT OUR CHILDREN AT MOOSEHEART AND OUR SENIORS AT MOOSEHAVEN. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY WOULD BE IF IT WERE NOT FOR MOOSE MEMBERS, WOTM, OR MOOSE LEGIONAIRES GENEROSITY. I WANT TO THANK ALL OF OUR VOLUNTEERS FOR THEIR HELP THIS PAST YEAR. WITHOUT THEM WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO THE MANY THINGS THAT WE DO. PLEASE THANK THEM WHEN YOU SEE THEM. AS YOU KNOW SEVERAL OF THEM VOLUNTEER FOR SEVERAL THINGS AT THE LODGE. WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS SO THE ONES WHO VOLUNTEER FOR MORE THAN ONCE COULD GET A LITTLE RELIEF. A MOOSE MEMBERSHIP WOULD MAKE A GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT. It is December already and I hope everybody has great Christmas plans. We had a fun Turkey Trot and a great dinner in November. Thanks to all the volunteers. When you see a volunteer, please thank them. We have a core of volunteers that we can always count on, but we need many more. We have lots of opportunities this month. The children s Christmas party is Dec 8 th 1-4 PM. Santa will be there! Our dinner for December 21 will be Fajitas with Bread Pudding for desert. Also, our meetings are Dec 5 and 19. On the 19 th after the meeting we will have a gift exchange, bring a gift ($10.00 value) and a snack to participate in the fun. If you want to volunteer, talk to a board member.
