2 Before & After Camp Care BEFORE CARE FOR SUMMER CAMP (4 YEARS - 8TH GRADE) Fashion Camps CIAO BELLA FASHION CAMPS (GRADES 2-6) MONDAY - FRIDAY... 9:00AM - 3:00PM... 1 WEEK SESSIONS $550 per session (includes all supplies and 1 field trip) MONDAY - FRIDAY... 8:00AM - 9:00AM... WEEK LONG Dates: 6/17-6/21, 6/24-6/28, 7/15-7/19, 7/29-8/2 Dates: 6/17-6/21, 6/24-6/28, 7/1-7/5 (no camp July 4), 7/8-7/12, 7/15-7/19, 7/22-7/26, 7/29-8/2, 8/5-8/9 No experience necessary for this fun week long camp for budding fashionistas. This camp will be filled with lots of sewing, camp games, one local field trip to Nickel City, and a Fashion Show on the last day of the camp. Returning students are welcome as we will be creating new projects. This camp will be led by two Ciao Bella Sewing instructors. We provide all supplies, including fabric, sewing notions, hand sewing supplies and sewing machines. It is SEW much fun to create and sew! Students can bring their own sewing machines or use ones provided. Students should bring their own nut-free lunch daily. Price: $70 per week ($56 for week of 7/1-7/5 due to no camp July 4) Before Care is the early morning child care program at Rootz serving campers ages 4 through 8th grade. Drop off any time after 8:00am and we will make sure your child is escorted to their camp program at the start of their camp day. Before Care is a fun, well-supervised start to your child s camp day! Rootz will not issue refunds for absences or pro-rate based on arrival time. A minimum of 5 students is required to run this program. AFTER CARE FOR SUMMER CAMP (5 YEARS - 8TH GRADE) MONDAY - FRIDAY... AFTER CAMP ENDS 3PM - 5PM... WEEK LONG Price: $80 per week ($65 for week of 7/1-7/5 due to no camp July 4) Dates: 6/17-6/21, 6/24-6/28, 7/1-7/5 (no camp July 4), 7/8-7/12, 7/15-7/19, 7/22-7/26, 7/29-8/2, 8/5-8/9 After Care is the after camp child care program at Rootz serving campers entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. We will make sure your child is escorted from their camp program at the end of their camp day. Pick up any time before 5:00 pm. After Care is a fun, well-supervised end to your child s camp day! During this week long camp, we will create fun clothing for summer. We will make items such as skirts, beach bags, dresses and more! 6/24-6/28 - SUMMER FUN SEWING CAMP: During this week long camp, we will create fun clothing for summer and for the 4th of July. We will make items such as red, white & blue skirts, picnic bags, picnic blankets and more! 7/15-7/19 - PROJECT RUNWAY FASHION CAMP: Similar to the hit series, Project Runway, we will work on various sewing, DIY and crafting projects throughout the week. 7/29-8/2 - SPA THEMED SEWING CAMP: The theme of this week s sewing camp is all things Spa related! We will sew robes, PJ Shorts, eye masks, and cosmetic cases for traveling. We will also cover the sewing machine and sew several projects (including accessories and apparel). 3

3 Musical Theatre Camps MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP (GRADES 3-8) MONDAY - FRIDAY... 9:00AM - 3:00PM... 4 WEEK SESSIONS Session 1: $1325 (No camp July 4th) Session 2: $1395 (includes all costumes and complimentary tickets for each performance) Dates: 6/17-7/12, 7/15-8/9 Our Rootz theatre and dance programs combine this summer to give you: Musical Theatre Camp! Each session, we will focus on putting on a show and building musical theatre skills with rehearsals, technique classes, and games all while forming friendships in our beautiful theater and dance studios! Our passionate camp leaders bring all of the fun of an intensive program while still being inclusive and accepting of beginners and veterans alike. Each week, with the exception of performance week and the week of July 4th, will include a fun camp event, such as a field trip or special event. Performances will take place the last Wednesday and Thursday of each session - all campers must be present. If you are looking for a child-based program that emphasizes process while also producing stellar performances, look no further: Rootz is your theatre destination! SESSION 1: 6/17-7/12 - ALADDIN JR. (We may use the 1:00 shows as invited dress rehearsals, but the kids should be available for all times) 4 MINI MUSICALS (GRADES K - 2) MONDAY - FRIDAY... 9:00AM - 3:00PM... 2 WEEK SESSIONS Sessions 1, 3, & 4: $660 Session 2: $610 (No camp July 4th) (includes all costumes and complimentary tickets for each performance) Dates: 6/17-6/28, 7/1-7/12, 7/15-7/26, 7/29-8/9 This summer, we dive into the wonderful world of musical theatre with adaptations of some of our all-time favorite fairy tales! Every participant will perform in group numbers and have a choice of a solo or a duet with a friend. The kids will also engage in beginner s scene study and acting lessons, musical theatre dance and singing. When not rehearsing, campers will enjoy arts and crafts, games, and building friendships with their fellow cast-members. Once per session, with the exception of 2nd session when we have off for the 4th of July, we will take a field trip or have a special event at camp. All performances will take place on the last Friday of the session at 2:00pm - all campers must be present. We look forward to seeing all of our little performers light up the stage this summer! 4 Dance & Fitness Camps DANCE CAMP (AGES 8-12) MONDAY - FRIDAY... 9:00AM - 3:00PM... 1 WEEK SESSIONS $360 per session Dates: 6/10-6/14, 8/12-8/16 Instructors: Relevé Dance Staff Spend a week dancing and learning how to shine and perform proper technique in ballet, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, choreography and more! No experience necessary as all styles are taught at a student s level. Dancers should wear comfortable clothing that will allow for movement, gym shoes, and bring any additional dance shoes based on the preference of the dancer. Dance camp includes other fun activities including arts and crafts, dance history & vocabulary and a field trip. Join us at the end of each week for our showcase for family and friends to see what your dancer worked on during this fun camp. DANCE PARTY CAMP (AGES 3.5-6) MONDAY - FRIDAY... 9:00AM - 12:00PM... 1 WEEK SESSION PRINCESS BALLET/TOT HOP CAMP (AGES ) TUE, WED OR FRI... 9:30AM - 11:30AM... WEEKLY CAMP $230 (8 weeks) Dates: Tuesdays: 6/18-8/6, Wednesdays: 6/19-8/7, Fridays: 6/21-8/9 Instructor: Jordyn Pins This summer we are offering an exciting class/camp for our tiny dancers. Once a week we will meet for two hours where we will get to explore different activities. The students will still get the traditional Princess Ballet class, but they will also get to do a princess craft, hear a princess story & then act it out as well! We will have a 10 minute snack / water break to be certain that everyone has plenty of energy for all of the fun. We will then switch into our gym shoes and shake it in TOT HOP! This is a drop off class/camp! Dancers do not need to be potty trained. We just ask that you come back if there is a need for a diaper change. STRETCH-N-GROW FUNTASTIC FITNESS CAMP (AGES 3-5) THURSDAYS... 9:30AM - 11:30AM... WEEKLY CAMP Price: $205 (7 weeks) Dates: 6/20-8/6 (No camp on July 4) Instructor: Stretch-N-Grow This weekly early childhood physical education, nutrition and wellness program is an action-packed, non-stop fitness class for every child. Using skill-specific equipment and safe and effective exercises, Stretch-N-Grow improves fitness levels and teaches the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Once a week we will meet for two hours where we will get to explore different activities.
