Only applications received on or before April 30 will be considered. Applicants must: 1. have held membership in Band classes during high school 2. continue music education as a major, minor, or course work 3. have cumulative GPA of 3.33 or above There will be an open gym tomorrow night from Prom Ticket pick up will be Tuesday 4/16 Thursday 4/19. Pick up times are before/after school and during lunch. Passes will not be written for students to pick up during class time. 3 Renaissance Congratulates our Fast Pass Winners for maintaining 95% attendance last week. These students will receive a Sonic Slush and a Fast Pass to go to the front of the lunch line. Hello everyone, The Rocket Club could really use your help. We have qualified to go to the Team America Rocketry Challenge national competition again this year in Washington DC on May 12th. This is a very big expense for the self funded club of 10; this year, the total is going to be around $8,000. You can help out this year by purchasing one of our fundraising t shirts. They cost $20 each. Checks should be made payable to Festus High School. Fill out the Google Form linked below to place your order by next Friday, April 20th. Please support ROCKET CLUB and wear you most comfortable pajama s (dress code appropriate:) Reminder: The weather is getting warmer and we need to remember that dress code is being enforced. Dresses and shirts off the shoulder do not meet dress code. Shorts should be appropriate length and jeans with holes must be lower than the appropriate short length. Students and Staff: Free baseball tickets!! The Varsity and JV baseball teams are playing at GCS stadium Home of the Gateway Grizzlies in Sauget, Illinois on Wed. April 18th vs. Seckman. STUDENTS: Applications to be a Mercy Hospital Jefferson Summer Junior Volunteer are available in the Counseling Center. This is a great program for job shadowing, career exploration, networking, etc. Applications are due May 1. In partnership with the National Student Council, Festus Student Council will be hosting Leadership Week April 16 19th. This year s national theme is: Make your mark on the world: Dream. Lead. Serve. Wednesday 4/18 Lead the Way; Wacky Tourist Day! Lead each other through new life experiences with a little twist!
