2 Student of the month at odyssey charter school We have partnered with Hockessin/Greenville Rotary to implement a Student of the Month Program honoring students for their exceptional academic and social success. One student from each building- Lower, Intermediate and Upper/High- are recognized each month at an Awards Breakfast. Their families are invited to join in the celebration! 3 OCS SEVENTH STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN JA FINANCE PARK OCS seventh grade students took part in a fantastic day of financial literacy at Junior Achievement. Students were taught the JA Finance Park curriculum during Exploring Business I during first or second marking period. The students had to live like an adult by managing a budget according to a profile they were given. They had to make real life decisions of how much to spend, save, and live within their means. Thank you to the parents/guardians and community volunteers who helped during this field trip.

9 Support Odyssey Wrestlers! The Odyssey Wrestling Team (K-11) Boosters are selling discount cards to help fundraise for the upcoming season. 10 Updates from the PTO Guest Bartending Thanks to everyone who came out to the Guest Bartender night at BBC. This was a fun event that helped generate some money for our students! PTO Meeting Our next PTO meeting is on February 6 th. We hope you can make it! Childcare is available for those who sign up by 2/3/19. Please sign up using: Our childcare option is becoming very popular and we can use some high school volunteers to assist! If you know a high school student willing to help out, please provide them with the following link, Book Fair Our next book fair will be the week of March 18 th. We will need several volunteers each day to make this event a success. Please consider volunteering some of your time to help. Also, please share this information with grandparents or other family members you think would be willing to donate some time. A Signup Genius will be coming out soon!
