6 WELCOME TO OUR NEW INSTRUCTORS! N In addition to our wonderful Dance Fusion Staff, we are thrilled and honored to welcome the following instructors to our DFNW family KEMBA SHANNON We are so pleased to announce that Kemba will be taking over as Director of our company 'Fusion, as well as teaching classes including: Advanced Level Contemporary, Hip Hop and Ballet Technique. Kemba will also be instructing an African/Rock Your Body class appropriate for numerous ages and levels that will give you the dance workout of a lifetime! If you haven't met or worked with Kemba yet, please Google her work on YouTube. She's toured with renowned artists including: Celine Dion, Madonna, Pink & Kanye West; performed in Broadway Companies of The Lion King, Aida and The Color Purple and appeared on The Grammy s, the MTV Music Awards, The Emmy s and the World Music Awards. Kemba has danced with almost everyone, has the most amazing work ethic, passion and uplifting, inspiring attitude and is a wonderful human being. We re so excited for everything she will bring to DFNW. BRITTANY WALSH Brittany is a Company performer and school instructor for DO JUMP! extremely physical theater and we are delighted to bring her on as DFNW s tumbling instructor. She brings an extensive performance background including solo acts with Wanderlust Circus, Girl Circus, Circus Artemis and numerous fairs, festivals and corporate events. Brittany has professional level skills in Tumbling, Partner Acrobatics, Hand Balancing, Single-Point Dance Trapeze, Aerial Hoop and Aerial Hammock and she s the perfect person to bring out the Gumby in our students! ANNA HOOPER Many of you may recognize Anna from our DFNW performance groups or from our sister ballet studio s (Northwest Classical Ballet s) fantastic productions. A highly trained dancer, Anna has spent the last couple of years traveling and doing advanced studies in the Contemporary dance genre and is developing an amazing style as well as doing some incredible choreography. We re so happy to have her teaching and sharing her passion and gift for Contemporary Movement. Welcome to you all!
