3 BOYS BASKETBALL THE ROCKETS ARE 4-12, THEY HAVE ONE 3 OF THE LAST 5 GAMES. THE ONLY WINS THEY HAVE ARE AGAINST RIPLEY, WHITEOAK X2 AND NORTH ADAMS. THE ROCKETS ARE 4-5 IN THE LEAGUE AND WITH A POTENTIAL WIN AT MAN- CHESTER, TUESDAY NIGHT JANUARY 31ST IT COULD PUT THE ROCKETS IN THE DRIVERS SEAT FOR A LEAGUE RUNNER-UP IN THE S.H.A.C. THE ROCKETS COULD GO INTO THE TOURNAMENT WITH A FULL HEAD OF STEAM AND COME AWAY WITH SOME HARDWARE.

4 What are your plans after High School, Caleb? I plan on going to college to study pre-med Are you nervous for the future? Why? Somewhat because you don t know what's ahead. Where are you planning on going to college? UC Clermont Are you going to miss high school? Yes because I ve made a lot of memories here.

D) What do you like about Valen nes Day? Elementary Jackie Holden (secretary): A) My family and I do not do anything special for V.D. B) My husband and I some mes go out to dinner and/or buy each other candy. C) I usually get my children something. D) The thing I like about Valen nes Day is, it is about love.

6 Middle School Ryan Briggs (M.S. Principal): A) Every year I get my kids a toy and my wife flowers. D) What I like about Valen nes Day it is a day to celebrate your loved ones. High School Lisa Tussey (H.S Secretary): A) it so happens that my husbands birthday in in the beginning of February and mine is at the end, so Valen nes Day falls in between. However, I do make my husband take me to a movie, dinner, etc. C) I do not get my children because I believe that V.D is a day for you significant other. D) I like Valen nes Day because love is in the air What day does Valen nes Day fall on?

7 GROUNDHOG DAY What is Groundhog Day? Groundhog Day occurs on February 2nd of every year. We celebrate Groundhog Day to see if there will be six more weeks of winter, or an early spring. Once a year in Pennsylvania, once the famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, comes out of his burrow, if its cloudy, and he sees his shadow that means there will be six more weeks of winter. If he does not, that means he predicts an early spring. When Chekhov saw the long winter, he saw a winter bleak and dark and bere of hope. Yet we know that winter is just another step in the cycle of life. But standing here among the people of Punxsutawney and basking in the warmth of their hearths and hearts, I couldn't imagine a be er fate than a long and lustrous winter. Phil Connors

8 Donald J. Trump took the oath of office on January 20, 2017, to formally become the 45th President of the United States. Schedule of Events: Mr. Trump will begin on Thursday with an inaugural tradi on: laying a wreath at Arlington Na onal Cemetery to honor the na on s fallen soldiers. Friday, Inaugura on Day begins with quiet prayer. It will end with the president dancing his way across the capital. the Trumps and their invited guests will share a private breakfast at Blair House, the president s guesthouse. The president-elect and his family will a end a religious service at St. John s Episcopal Church.With American officials and other dignitaries gathered on the West Front of the Capitol, the official inaugura on ceremony will feature religious leaders. Chief Jus ce John G. Roberts will administer the oath of office as Mr. Trump rests his hand on two Bibles: one he s owned since childhood and the Lincoln Bible. Mr. Trump will then deliver his speech. With Mr. Trump installed as president, the Obamas will bid farewell and depart from the East Front of the Capitol. There will be two official inaugural balls, Mr. Trump is expected to make remarks and take to the dance floor with his first lady and Vice President Pence.

9 Split: In this action packed movie directed by peter berg, Tommy Saunders was at the front line. From a walkthrough of a day of emotion, you will be dazed and emotional throughout. It is one of the most iconic films of this generation. In this M. Knight Shyamalan movie you will be guessing the next move the whole time. When Kevin, a man with multiple personalities, kidnaps 3 girls things get crazy. The girls fear him and Kevin s worst fear is himself. This is a suspenseful movie with many shocks throughout. The ending will leave you guessing. Patriots Day: Sing! In this hilarious family movie, you will roll with laughter as you sing along to some hits. This is a great movie for kids and adults alike. Watch as your favorite funny animals come to life with voices of angels. or well some.

10 Want something fun to do this winter with the family? Perfect North Slopes has a variety of things to do for fun! You can tube, or ski. They also have a ski li there to ride! Prices to enjoy this memorable me with the family are $27 for general admission, and $22 for ages under 12 and seniors! Hope everyone can experience this fun at least once!
