3 The Honor Roll Ice Cream Celebrations are this week. Wednesday will be 9th and 10th grade honor roll students and Thursday will be 11th and 12th grade honor roll students. Both celebrations will be at STEP in the Skybridge Conference Room.

4 Attention Watkins Mill The second fall play of the year opens this Thursday and runs every day til Saturday with two shows on Saturday one at 2 and another at 7pm. All shows during the week start at 7 as well.

5 To all staff and students please join the Social Awareness Group on Thursdays during STEP in room E002 to talk about issues related to peer interaction at Watkins Mill High School. Brochures and information regarding the group will be available at STEP in the Mixing Bowl today, November 17th. Meetings will begin on Thursday, November 19th. Hope to see you there!

6 Attention Seniors: If you would like to submit a design for the senior class t-shirt, please do so by Friday November 20th. The submitted designs will be placed on the senior bulletin board. Voting will take place in the mixing bowl during STEP after Thanksgiving break. Please submit any designs to Ms. Young.

7 Attention Seniors! If you are interested in applying to be the student speaker at graduation, you need to act now! The deadline for submitting an application is Tuesday, December 1 st. You can get an application from Ms. Young. You must have it returned to Ms. Young by December 1 st. Applications submitted after December 1 st will not be considered.

8 Who needs SSL Hours? Ms. Squier is looking for seniors to help register students at Watkins Mill to vote. You can earn a potential of SSL hours. You must currently be 18 years old and a US citizen. If you are interested, see Ms. Squier in b102

9 Attention all Key Club and NHS members: Please contribute to the Manna Food Drive. Drop off locations are located in A 208 and D 208. The food drive ends on December 1st.

10 To all students We still need volunteers for International Night. We are looking for students who would like to present some aspect of a culture in which they are involved. Performances, food and information are welcome all the same! Earn SSL hours for volunteering. For more details about International Night see Mr. Wu in C009 any time this week and now for some career center news

11 All collegebound seniors: In order to apply for financial aid in January, you and a parent will need an FSA ID. Get it now at fsaid.ed.gov. That s fsaid.ed.gov. Seniors: Interested in a Navy ROTC Scholarship that will pay full tuition for college? Come to the College/Career Center on Wednesday to learn more.

12 Join us on the Spirit Bus for the Annual OLAS Dance Competition on Monday, November 23rd. Tickets are being sold in the mixing bowl during STEP. Please stop by the main office to pick up a permission slip to ride the Spirit Bus which is free! It s first come, first served until the bus is full.

13 Attention ACES juniors: The Interview Skills workshop is taking place today at STEP in room A001. We will start exactly at 11:15. Thanks
